Really disappointed in both centre backs and both centre midfielders. 4 senior pro's that poor abysmal today. I hope fabregas stays but the other 3 should be gone, there no longer good enough. It will be a travesty if both chill and ivanovic are here next season and Terry isn't.

It's really hard to see even the core of this team being good next season. I'd say we need what, 4-5 quality replacements?

And probably some decent back ups

Recruitment in the summer has to be clinical, no half arsed attempt. Clear goals have to be achieved if we are to get back amongst the elite. Get it wrong this time and we could go enter a very dark period. We simply aren't good enough throughout the park and our poor record in the transfer market in the last three years is coming back to bite us hard on the arse.

Let's say we improve under Conte, in three years time when it starts to go wrong and he's fired, what then? It's a never ending circle, manager merry go round, take me back to the old days.

Agreed 100% this offseason will be huge and we really can't have anymore misses.

We were tore apart from counter attacks with our defence all over the place and absolutely no cover from midfield. A really poor performance and really shows that our new manager has got one hell of a rebuilding job to do in the summer. I just hope he gets the backing from the board that he's going to need.

Can't see him getting unlimited funds so we will need to sell to spend. We will need to bring back some loan players to beef us up a bit.

Big summer coming up, overhaul needed club and board need to back Conte and make an effort to get whoever he wants within reason.

 

Would have no qualms (apart from Willian Cesc and maybe Diego and Azpi) if that entire first 11 was sold this summer and FFs Guus, give Matic a run next game over Mikel, nothing to play for and supposed to be "experimenting"

Players should be ashamed today. If you have a bad game technically you stole have fitness and desire to show you care. Watching from the stands today they looked like they gave up. Need some senior heads to make sure it doesn't happen against spuds other wise I can see a tough evening ahead.
