Did not Jose bring on "youth"?

I am sorry but I have gone through this in the previous post I quoted you.

conte used the players available to him. Musonda is our 4th choice winger, a part of a squad, not just some random teenager conte picked out of the youth team. Same goes for Kennedy, Andreas.

jose simply has a better squad/replacements at his disposal.

Yea, which I agrue he didn't need all of them at home to Burton. Did they need Shaw, Fellaini, Jones, Lukaku, and Young on the bench?

Sterling, JCS and Ampadu didn't have to be named to the bench or come on but Conte is interested in playing young players.

How difficult is it to understand this.

JCS is our 6th choice CB. Jones is their 4th/5th choice.

Lukaku is their 1st choice striker, Morata is ours.

Did we need Willian on the bench?, Moses? Morata,

Oh dear mother of god!!!!

How can you not understand this simple a thing? Seriously, how?

Out of our existing 6 Cbs, 1 was suspended, 3 were on the pitch and the only option left was azpi/JCS. Conte chose to give Azpi a day off and include JCS. Our 4th (Rudi) and 5th (Andreas) were already on the pitch, just like united's 3rd and 4th were. Seriously mate, atleast try and understand what the oether person is saying, or is the Jose hate clouding everything?

Can't understand why anyone could still be bothered to fight Mourinho's corner. He's 100% United now and clearly nailed his colours to the Utd mast.

Only time will tell if Conte is as good a coach as Mourinho but I don't think there is any doubt we now have the better man to take this club forward.

If you actually go through the endless argument, you will notice that the fight is simply not about Jose v Conte. Its simply about ridiculing someone just for the sake of it.

United have a massive squad. Just look at their defenders: Bailly, Blind, Jones, Lindelof, Darmian, Rojo, Shaw, Smalling, Valencia. 9 defenders for 4 positions. Do you logically expect him to not play his 2nd string team and put in the likes of shaw who would still not make the team, and rather play some youth player ahead of them? For me, the answer is a plain and simple NO.

I am not fighting from jose's corner, simply pointing out the facts and hypocrisy here to someone who seems to be ridiculing our most successful manager ever for literally no reason.

Yeah, like any of us have the time or could be bothered to do that!!

I don't hold back on him for going to United, he had every right to go, we sacked him.

You might call me stupid but I was more angry at the board for not standing by him. The board had two decisions, either make a point and declare they will not sack Mourinho, which would've been a big strike to player power, or just sack him before it gets worse. Instead, they made the worst decision in just waiting it out when it was obvious the players fell out with him.

I hate player power, I even hated it under AVB, I still don't like the way Lampard went on just because AVB wasn't playing him. There is no denying Jose is a c**t, but he was our c**t, like Ferguson was United's. He was very tiring and I'm kind of glad to be rid of him for that reason, but I hate the way we finished things. If it wasn't for Conte's miracles we would be more angry with the board then we would be with Mourinho, I'm very sure of that.

There was no player power, Jose overplayed them to the point of physical and mental exhaustion and created a toxic cloud around the club. Look at the Hazard situation for example, play's through injury, has never caused any problem's at the club and always been of good character yet Jose managed to brainwash people into thinking he was a snake.

We could have appointed the second coming of Scolari as Jose's succesor yet it wouldn't have changed the fact Jose had to go.

Man is an overpaid up his own arse c**t. When will all the lovers realise he doesn't, and has never given a f**k about Chelsea or their supporters. He's a prostitute that goes to the highest bidder. He deserves no respect and should never get any.

The question mark is Conte vs Jose mark one, and i still feel Toni's got work to do before we can compare him favourably to that Jose. The version of Jose who came back to us however is massively inferior to Conte and it's not/shouldnt even be debatable.

Relax.

If you really believe that Jose is willing to try out inexperienced players with the intention to try and integrate them, then there's nothing we can do. He never picks his teams on footballing merit alone. With Jose at the helm, you could be sure that Cahill would start every game even if someone else (new and younger) was making a good claim for the spot. Christensen wouldn't have had a chance. In fact, Alonso and Moses wouldn't have had a chance. Azpi would have continued at RB/LB. Why? Because he is too cowardly to try anything new, to play a footballer over the likes of Fellaini, to bench the likes of Ivanovic although it was clear that there were better options. Rashford should consider himself extremely lucky that he developed under Van Gaal.

If you accumulate players over the hill/experienced but poor footballers and have a huge squad but refuse to reward footballing merit, you prevent integration of youth in any case.

He wins trophies through grit and experience but leaves every club he manages in decline, and in need for a transition of sorts.

Agree with a lot of that Ashwin about bringing the younger talent through. On the other hand I think by playing Azpi and Gallas before him at LB was unconventional yet worked. For me that was something new.

Another point worth mentioning is the dark arts of JM, when Soton were pressing for an equaliser he manages to get himself sent to the Stands and breaks the flow of the match. Also when we played PSG in the CL at SB and contrived to get Ibrahimović sent off.  I'm sure others would have more examples too.

His "let the horses run free" schtik lasted all of 3 games.

In his last title win with us he at least managed to survive a few months before resorting to a one goal lead resulting in shutting up shop.

It tells me that Guardiola's City and possibly us have him running scared. He so desperately needs this title, not for United but for himself. He is a fragile man these days.

Personally feel that it's borderline criminal he's having Rashford as far back as a secondary fullback when he shuts up shop. The boy should be developed properly and not shoehorned just because you want that win so much. At least subbing him off is better at that age than running him into the ground to suit a tactic at the last half hour or so

Got to agree here. Rashford is having the skill coached out of him, and it's not the first or last flair player he will do it to. Joe Cole springs to mind, and look at Hazard now he is a "free little horse"

Need an account to read that apparently.

Didn't realise, few quotes for you:

Absolutely fecking frustrated, cannot believe even after spending so much money we had to park the bus against the likes of Southampton, had this been city, Chelsea or liverpool away we'd have been ripped apart to pieces in the second half.

Not one player wanted to hold onto the ball, maintain possession, had we did that we'd have killed them on the counter, every single player kept hoofing the ball in the general direction of Lukaku and Fellaini.

We were a rich man's WBA today, and no we are not anywhere close to winning the title this season.

Doesn't matter how much money we spend Mourinho sets his team's like that, he is a defensive manager, always has been always will be.

Southampton were unlucky not to score and as you say against the likes of Liverpool, City and Chelsea we wouldn't of won or drawn i can see ninety minutes of bus parking when we come up against them.

I wasn't too fussed on Jose's negative tactics when he was here. I hated all the "boring" football sh*t we used to always get. I can bet any money United don't get the same treatment we get in that area, and sorry to be cliche on this one. But we all know the majority of top football writers & pundits are Liverpool/United.

Winning games is the most important thing, I don't care how we do it. When we beat Spurs in the COC final, it wasn't pretty but we annoyed them, really frustrated them and we won 2-0. But then it backfired when we played PSG at home in the same season, against 10 men we forgot how to attack since in every big game Jose made us go on the defensive, we ended up being embarrassed by a 10 man team, completely outplayed.

Now United have seen what Jose is like, they have all the quality at their disposal, yet after going 1-0 they set up shop against Southampton, completely defend and go hoof-ball for the second half. Jose has seen the threat Manchester City will inflict, and I bet he's not confident on beating them over two games, he'll go for the defensive set up and try to win the league on points. Just like he did with Real Madrid in 2012.
