Hope we beat united next week. Liverpool really can't do anything when the opposition puts pressure on them and close them down.

Am still mystified how we lost to Liverpool also i hope this Zlatlan turns up against us no first touch no finishing if we play towards our potential we will win

Turgid game of football, I spent he bulk of the second half editing the latest transfers into my football manager database. Had more fun doing that than when I occasionally glanced at the telly.

Good result for us.

Three points against United on sunday would be absolutely massive though.

That's another Jose special,  playing like Stoke with one of the best squad in the league. Where the hell did he find Young from? I don't think Klopp mind the result either, given the amount of respect Jose showed. I can't remember the last United team didn't have a go at winning against liverpool. It will be interesting to see if he views Chelsea as a big team and deploy similar tactics

I can't believe Liverpool fans are moaning about Jose's tactics, after all these years they expect something else? That's the way Jose operates.

Love the comment on TalkSport this morning - If Jose Mourinho had directed the film Die Hard it would have been 90 minutes of Bruce Willis hiding in a cupboard, coming out to applause at the end for not getting shot!!

That was utter bilge. I bet Sky are gutted, after the big build up they gave that game.

'All the World is watching'...Yeah and they probably turned over during half time.

Pogba is starting to make Torres look like a bargain.

I think he'll want to win against us

No doubt he will. I expect the Utd players will be given instructions on how best to wind up Costa.

But hopefully our players will want it more.

I have to say for all the grief United fans give LVG, He got it tactically spot on last night and shut Liverpool down, I know United fans will moan today and will say LVG's style of play is boring but it got them the result.

Thats karma as far as im concerned...after days of Ridiculous hype and build-up and putting such a not-so-super-sunday day of games on...bbc fell for the bollox too, moving match of the day 2 from sunday to monday...some highlights package that...cant remember the last decent liverpool v utd game anyway...theyre usually pretty dire

How have we bloody lost to Liverpool at the Bridge? Terrible team, they improved under Klopp but still the same sh*t from the last few seasons. Don't see them getting a top four spot this season.

To be fair, we played right into their game. We were slow and clumsy at the back and they just closed us down quickly and played around us with quick passes, it wasn't that difficult, we were just very bad. Same as against Arsenal as well.

I actually think those two horrendous performances against Arsenal/Liverpool were a blessing in disguise for your manager, He will know exactly how to set you up in a big game after those two games. I personally think he went into those games prepared for it as if it was a big international match or a big Serie A game where it's a chess match but in the prem we don't really do chess matches just 100 mph war, I can understand why the bookies have you lot as even money faves for the game on Sunday what with the formation change and upturn in form.

Thing is, I think you can say that about a number of teams. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and ourselves. Some games, we and they look really good, but it's all down to enough of their key players performing well on the day. I missed our game against Liverpool as I was away but think last night they were missing Wijnaldum and Lallana only came on for last 30 minutes. It'ls like us. If Hazard, Costa, Willian etc are all on top of their game, we can blow teams away but it just isn't a given.

Folk were predicting City to run away with it this season and they might, but hopefully not as it could be a really interesting season with a lot of the top teams taking points of one another. We've got ground to make up so it's a must we go all out for the 3 points against Utd on Sunday.

Apparently Liverpool fans are moaning at Martin Tyler's commentary on Sky again, they moaned at him when they played us too.

They obviously don't pay attention to the other games he commentates, he's like this in every game. He's a boring commentator.

Liverpool, always the victim.
