Even with his size, i think Lukaku struggles in those games where his team is sitting deep and looking to punt the ball long. In games like today, where Everton played with speed and be on the front foot from start to finish, he looked good.

He still has things to work on, but you can say that about any striker, i would have him back here next season without a doubt.

Scott, Does the fact he plays for Everton not worry you a bit in terms of how long the transfer will take to complete? Remember the John Stones saga? They took forever to finalize for us even when we went in at full asking price. I know it's your club and you know better but for me Morata at Real would be a lot less hassle especially given he's more disposable for Real than Lukaku is at Everton, Plus Conte has worked with Morata. You could also argue Morata might cost £10/15 mill less, Lukaku's agent is that fat pizza eating b-ellend who represents Pogba, He will want his pockets filled with as much money possible.

David Moyes defines the word negativity to an absolute tea, to think his name was always mentioned as a candidate every time we had a vacancy when he was at Everton makes me feel ill.

I'm sure there were some posters on here back in 2013 that thought he should be considered for chelsea...just imagine

There definitely was were i was at, infact i was in the minority arguing against it :sad:everyone is entilteled to there view ofcourse and i have made some horrific predictions in the past myself but i'd like to know what the hell they saw in him, it was so so so obvious he was going to flop if he ever got a job at a club at the top end, i couldn't believe our luck when United appointed him.

Pity Moyes couldn't slap a good performance out of his players. I reckon we should have the title wrapped up by the time we play them, but if we need a win on the last day to win a title, couldn't have picked a better team to play against.

I expect a week of Jose talking up the prestige of the Europa cup, and accusing  Conte of defensive tactics.

We all have a mare from one time or another, but I, like you, was speaking up in disgust on here when Moyes was mentioned by some...never been chelsea quality and was totally mystified

Bloody stupid having Leicester playing the late Sunday kickoff ahead of a Champions League match, England doesn't deserve four spots.

I was just about to type the exact same thing, Pathetic.

Not only that, They made United play on Sunday also who have Europa League on Thursday. Why is it not possible for BT Sport and Sky to work together for flexible scheduling? You move the Spurs/Watford game to Sunday at 1.30, You move the Everton v Leicester to the 12.30 on Saturday, and you keep the Chelsea v Bournemouth game at 5.30 on BT sport since that's their allotted window, Regardless of what you do with the United fixture. It isn't like any of the channels will lose a game or lose a window, and then we wonder why English clubs are woeful in Europe. Back in 2004-2009 the league wasn't as intense, You could get away with it, You can't now.

I suppose Spurs would have a complaint if they moved their game to Sunday after Chelsea played on Saturday, Which would have meant they go into the Watford game 10 points behind as opposed to 7 with the chance to make it 4.

Do complaints like this actually hold weight ?

If there was a precedent for moving fixtures to help our clubs in Europe, A situation where a title chasing side has to have their fixture moved for another side would create an issue, However there is no precedent for moving fixtures. Had they not given up on Friday night football with Stelling and Riley you could have put Leicester on that time slot no problems.

Why is it that Tottenham are getting all the early kick offs recently? It seems like every week they play before we do, they've even got West Ham away on a Friday Night coming up.

to put us under pressure knowing that spurs won their match and therefore closing the gap

f**k Spurs, they couldn't even capitalise on us having to play a FA Cup semi-final at 5pm  48 hrs before we played a CL semi-final at the Camp Nou.

I still find that hard to believe 5yrs later we were forced into that situation to appease the Scouse. Even Roy Race would have struggled with that schedule,Billy Dane from Billy's Boots might have managed though.

I loved Billy's Boots.

Kinda feel like I want Arsenal to win, now hear me out. For one I'm not petty in that because Palace beat us I want them to lose (I'm not like that and never will be) but I want Arsenal to get top four. I feel a finish outside the top 4 will see them sack Wenger in favour of someone else and I truly want Wenger to stay.

Arsenal in the top 4 are no threat to anyone. I'd prefer they get it than Man utd, as the CL football could help them bring in good players. Also we need Arsenal confident for the game against Spurs.

Let's be real, Arsenal are going to be thrashed by Spurs. They've got nothing except Sanchez, and he can't win by himself. I have my hopes but watching them brings anyone back to earth.
