Yeah I heard that, wouldn't shock me.

I heard aswell that Spurs want Zaha but would pay less wages than Palace. I think Spurs could really see there most promising team fall apart before they've even achieved anything.

I hope they sign Zaha, i think he is massively overrated. He's played well in this league for about two months of his whole career. He's also very much a "look at me" type of player. Tottenham all play for each other, i can see the fans getting sick of Zaha when they need a win and he's doing step overs and smashing shots into row z.

I totally agree but I was just making the point about them not offering the same wages he's on at Palace. Shows that they will have some issues hanging on to players because of that.

Remember Spurs have won a trophy....we will be reminded by their fans that they are the net spend Champions once again...I love a good spreadsheet me...especially the DVD going through the financial results...beats silverware every time

They're "singing the same tune" as Arsenal.

Okay I have just found out how much caravans cost, so I am now amending my tribute to making some half-cooked lasagne, which is if anything more appropriate.

You could always buy a dag. 'Do ya like dags.'

Dustin Menno: Tottenham Hotspur will crush West Ham. And then make t-shirts. Possibly a DVD. 4-0 Spurs.

Matthew Pachniuk: West Ham don’t want to play this game. Lets set the tone for the weekend. 3-0 Spurs.

Alex Greenberg: I'm already having bad flashbacks to this fixture last year. I think it's tight, but Dele gets one to the great dismay of the London Stadium. 1-0 Spurs.

Jake Meador: I'm with Alex. Game is annoying and bad but Dele to the rescue. 1-0 Spurs.

GN Punk: We all struggle to watch this match because the cameras are seven miles away from the pitch, but in the end, Spurs coast. 3-0 Spurs.

Earl of Shoop: In what is probably one of his last appearances for Spurs (*sobbing sounds*), Kyle Walker recreates his beautiful 2015/2016 outside of the foot goal against the same garbage opponents. Also we score a few other goals because that's what we do this season. Spurs 4-0.

Pardeep Cattry: This'll probably be easier than the last time Spurs played West Ham. 2-0 Tottenham.

TBF many people on here didn't believe West Ham presented a challenge to spuds either - The one point everyone is forgetting, it's a London Derby - that match CFC vs Palace was a perfect example how London Derbies are very unpredictable

I'm still hearing tonight that Spurs have played the best football this season...I don't deny they have played well last few months, but that doesn't mean the whole season...just seems a classic case of whatever's the most recent applies...the same logic applies to the goal of the season competition...

chelsea have played fantastic stuff this season, particularly before the new year, but that appears to be forgotten..the usual brush of us being efficient etc gets thrown our way...but Spurs have had their fair share of scrappy wins too, even during their nine game winning run...how come their crap performances before new year aren't part of this so-called assessment of best football etc?

of course, all chelsea fans, me included should now have the only accolade that matters soon enough...it just annoys me to keep hearing this love in for Spurs even after a sh*te performance like we saw tonight..

when chelsea lost to palace and Utd last month, there were no such apologies for us

Ah sh*t I'm pissed again and it's all Chelsea's fault!  Well West Ham's/Spurs.

I fell asleep watching it when it was 0-0, mulling over what a draw and potential 6-point gap would mean for us. Thought it would be good but Spurs GD advantage made it a bit moot, we'd still be two bad results away from everything going pear shaped. But then... awoke to replays of the gloriously chaotic Lanzini goal and 'Marky Nobes' being interviewed pitch side. Almost felt happy for them... almost!

Going to hold off on celebrating too much until we beat Middlesbrough on Monday but that was a fantastic result. Was at work refusing to look at the score until the end because I didn't want to get heart broken.

I was the same.  i was out with friends and decided not to sneak a peek of my phone because I knew it would only be false hope a la Crystal Palace.  Couldn't believe it when I did see the score!  Bring on Monday (fingers crossed!)

Ha ha! will do!  I certainly cared more than he did tonight!

Hey weren't Tottenham gonna take out the title and win like 20 PL games in a row or something? At least that's what the media told me LOL.

Glorious result. Let's make it count by burying Middlesbrough and West Brom.

Under Armour apparently looking to add Man City to their stable, can only be good for us if true as we'd be the only big club on Nike's books in England.

Good monetary wise perhaps, but I think their kits are sh*t. Hate Nike.

I'm not overly keen either, but it is what it is. As long as they don't mess with our home colours I'll be content, no funky sleeves or non-white socks.

After the Arsenal win the media and Spurs fans were crowing about a 'power shift' and how they were going to win their remaining games to put the 'pressure' on, now it's all about deflecting criticism and insisting they're not bottle jobs because they were never going to win the league anyway.

The thing that irks me the most is those fans that spout that Spurs is a great place for top players to play - regardless of wages and on field success. Utter bollocks.

There isn't a top player in the world who doesn't want to be paid his market value and win things. The clock is ticking on Spurs before their best players start to get restless.

you think the likes of Erikson, Ali, Dembele etc will be happy to be the nearly men, getting paid on the cheap compared to other clubs players around them.

They'll need to break that wage structure if they want to get to the next level.

Spurs fan: "Any other season and we'd have won it"

"What do you mean any other season? You didn't win it last season, did you? You haven't won it for decades"

Very true mate.

It's all this 'free flowing, attractive football ' media cliche for Spuds this season and last that gets me. Granted they have played good football. No doubt or problem with that. However, football is about far more than that. Scoring more goals than the opposition for example. Oh and defending well.

Reminds me of Newcastle under Kevin Keegan in the mid 1990s. Don't know if that is a fair comparison of the two teams.
