Imagine Walcott but even worse

Bloody hell, I know Vardy's face and demeanour suggest a certain 'I did coke weekly when I was 14' but there's no need to insult him. Whenever I've met him he's been perfectly nice.

Every so often I watch this and reminisce... if I were capable of human emotions I'd probably shed a tear:

I can't believe I was there. Thank you Claudio, you king amongst men.

United go to Russia the Thursday before our FA Cup Q/final but with that game on Monday 13 March they have only 2 days before the second leg v Rostov on Thursday 16 March.

It's going to be fascinating to see how Mourinho plays this - it'll maybe tell us where his priorities lie

I have just had to edit several posts because of your racist remark. We don't appreciate that kind of language, it went out with the dinosaurs, this is 2017.

You missed this one out.

Just dealt with that as well. cheers for pointing it out.

At times you could almost get the impression that racism is more acceptable (even if eventually edited) around here than having the audacity to say that Hazard hasn't played well in a match day thread.

Racism < match day knee jerk?

Has to be Europe if they get a good first leg in doesn't it? The novelty of never winning that trophy plus the fact that they'd be favored to win against anyone left in that competition makes it enticing. Plus they can qualify for CL that way as well right?

On the other hand I'm sure he would love nothing more than sticking it to us at SB after that 4-0 and on current form they look likely to finish top 4 anyway. More than one way to skin a cat.

CL qualification and a trophy or two would be a huge success for them whether United fans want to admit it or not. I'm still crossing my fingers they lose the first leg, put their eggs in the FA Cup basket, lose to us and still miss out on top 4.

That brings up another point, don't we want everyone but United and City to play well from here on out? I don't think I'm worried one bit about the other 3 catching us or even challenging for the title next season.

Ranieri gave Leicester what they never could dream of. Winning the league and creating players like Mahrez, Kante, Vardy, Drinkwater and next season reach the last 16 in Europe, I think he has done more than well in this club. But now it seems like he lost few of his plans, the club isn't playing well and the owner of Leicester did right the thing for him.

I'm feeling bad for Ranieri, but he always will be remembered in the Premier League and of course Leicester football club.

Good luck in your next club, Dilly Ding Dilly Dong!

Here is the thing, exactly how deep is his impact on that? When we see a manager 'guided' an a team becomes the champion, we tend to think the reason of the success was mainly down to the manager, I thought that way too but after witnessing up and down of so called great/poor managers all these years, I'm having doubt that the manager is the main reason for the success..

The manager's role is often overrated, much like it's easier to just find a figurehead when we want to credit or blame someone..

No it isn't, what racism has been acceptable on here ever?

Jesus, it's like you literally know nothing about football.

Be interesting to see how Leicester City perform now that Ranineri is no longer in charge...

If they come out firing and put in the same effort as last season then I hope they get relegated several times. If those players chose not to play for a manager that lead them to an impossible title win then they all deserve to have the sh*t kicked out of them.

So apparently they spoke to the owners 4 times to try and get ranieri sacked, backstabbing bar stewards.

I'm sure he got a stern warning and surely will be banned if repeated.

If they can do that without ranieri then it only proves he wasn't instrumental to the title win, simple logic that but somehow it's too sophisticated for you to understand.. When a manager lost the dressing room, the buck always stops at the manager, there's a reason for a breakdown in relationship but with you can't wait on getting that high ground and being Mr. judgemental your entire life, you just couldn't be bothered to at least find out the reason behind the breakdown, so typical, not even jesus can cure you.. I rest my case, amin...

Tired of this constant droning on about Ranieri and people acting like he's been killled or something. Yes he won the league but it was prettty obvious that he had lost the dressing room so what should the club do exactly? Ignore it and suffer relegation just to keep some fake romantic notion going or get realistic and keep their premier league position which is worth hundreds of millions.

Ranieri also got handsomely compensated with £3m and I'm pretty sure will get another multi million pound job very quickly. He's not going to be living in a homeless shelter.  Christ.

They've set a dangerous precedent now.

Player power apparently rules at Leicester and there is evidently  a couple of players who have the owner's ear.

Expect a revolving door on the manager's office now, if the man who got the club to punch well above their weight, to the point it's amazing they've not died from grotesque obesity, then who is ever going to live up to their expectations?

These same players went above and beyond for ranieri last season, so they've showed that they're willing to work with a manager they trust and get on with. The question should be asked as to why they have suddenly turned on him. We don't know what went on but blaming the players and acting like Ranieri is blameless is just silly. Both were responsible for the victory last season and both should equally take the blame for their slump. Unfortunately you can't sack a whole team so it's always the managers that has to go.
