June 28, 201610 yr This might go some way to answering your question based on the link below from the official Premier League website: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fixture-changes-explained.html Changes for broadcast selectionsThe first changes take place when the League’s UK broadcast partners announce their opening group of live TV matches. This happens in early July and contains broadcast alterations for the first two months of the season (August and September). TV matches for October and November should be confirmed and announced in early August. For fixtures from December onwards, live TV matches are mostly confirmed on a month-by-month basis. The Premier League will seek to confirm live TV matches approximately five or six weeks before the start of the month in question. For example, December selections are typically confirmed in mid-October. The broadcast selections for the season’s final round of fixtures on 21 May, 2017, are usually announced after every club have completed 37 matches. As these matches always kick off simultaneously, there is no direct impact on match-going fans, in terms of rearranged dates or kick-off times.

October 14, 20169 yr They don't like bringing the cameras to the Bridge very much. 5 out of 7 away from home.
October 14, 20169 yr Whilst not being particularly fond of either club, I do think its madness to have moved the Liverpool v Man City game to New Years Eve 5.30 kick off.

A note of a meeting between representatives from clubs and Sky. http://chelseasupporterstrust.com/1347-fixture-scheduling-meeting-with-sky/ On Wednesday 2 November a number of top-flight fan representatives met with members of the team at Sky Sports who work across football coverage and fixture scheduling. It is hoped that this is the first of many meetings between match-going fans and broadcasters. The full statement can be found on the Football Supporters’ Federation site here. Our co-opted representative Tim Rolls attended the meeting and provided the following update: Members surveys by Premier League supporters organisations including Chelsea Supporters Trust have clearly shown that rearranged kick-off times at the demand of Sky or BT Sport are a significant frustration for match-going supporters, particularly but not exclusively travelling ones. The impact on cost, work arrangements and family life of these rearrangements should not be under-estimated. The recent meeting I attended with Sky, following on from a meeting of supporters representatives with the Premier League in July where the matter was discussed, was a necessary step in heightening stakeholder awareness of the impact of rearranged fixtures on match-going supporters. It is, however, by no means the end of the process. Further stakeholder dialogue needs to take place, involving PL, Sky, BT Sport and supporters representatives sitting round the same table. Only by doing this is there a chance that supporters needs are effectively taken into account when PL fixtures are rescheduled. We would like to thank Tim for his ongoing work in this area, along with other Premier League Trust representatives. This is an important and frustrating issue for many of our members. Thanks also to the FSF for facilitating the meeting as we look forward to some positive progress.

The game away against West Ham United will now take place on Monday 6 March with an 8pm kick-off. The following fixture, at home to Watford, will be played on Monday 13 March with an 8pm start although this will be rescheduled again should either side reach the sixth round of the FA Cup. January 26, 20179 yr As annoying as the TV companies are at controlling the league, at least we are on tv a lot.

I wouldn't be buying tickets for the Watford game anyway as it's midweek but saying it's going to be on Monday, unless either of us are in the cup still - so that won't be known until weekend of 18th February, or later if it (or either) goes to a replay. Tickets usually go on sale to members about a month before so it is annoying when you don't know what day/time matches are going to be.
