Leeds were still big rivals in the 90's and early 00's, I do miss the games and wouldn't mind Leeds back in the Prem for that reason to be honest, I believe the last time we played them it ended 5-1 to us a few years back. The games were always physical, remember this tackle from Le Saux:

When you see a yellow card dished out for that, it makes you realise how much the game has changed even in that relatively short space of time.

Very true, O'Leary was incensed after this challenge and had to be sent to the stands, it's an easy straight red these days.

Arsenal for me.

Remember losing to them at the Bridge in 04 and them singing "Have you ever seen Chelsea win the league(have you f**k).

The rest as they say is history.

I'm not surprised Liverpool are the leaders, they are a repulsive club from top to bottom and represent everything that's wrong with not only football but society aswell.

I feel sorry for decent/realistic fans, because if they don't tow the "preaches" they get practically cast aside from their own supporters, it's like a flawed/deranged religion at Anfield, could you imagine a Liverpool fan outside Anfield be allowed to criticise the team the same way Claude of Arsenal fan TV does outside The Emirates? I think we all know the answer to that, they would probably be accused of being an undercover Manc.

If I was a footballer I could be a professional if it comes down to it for any club bar Liverpool, everything about them makes my skin crawl, if I had a choice between Liverpool and Carlisle id genuinely choose Carlisle.

i worked in North London and remember Arsenal fans pleading to Roman to give them a chance lol

i am the only chelsea in a family of Spuds and Gooners and have so much fun ripping into them iI just can't hate them.

got loads of Good friends who are serious Leeds men and still at it up there well into their 40's lol

Liverpool all the way for me . bunch of moaning girls much like Arsenal,Spurs, Manure, Citeh, in fact everyone else

No love (well hate actually) for Everton? Seems like they despise us more than they do Liverpool at times as we saw in the FA cup game last season. Bunch of bitter arses (must be a scouse thing) also living in the past (another scouse thing- surprise surprise). Plus having Martinez as manager didn't do them any favours

Being from Surrey/Hampshire border means I grew up surrounded by glory supporting United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans for most of my life. Abramovich taking over meant I was suddenly labelled a glory supporter by the same United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans! Most had/have never set foot in a football stadium at that point in time let alone actually gone to Liverpool or Manchester etc. Bloody cheek

My father and Uncle have hated Liverpool long before I was even on this earth, so for me it started with them (they were at the Bridge when the bin men won the league in 1986? at the Bridge) and their fans really seem to hate us, linked to us beating them on the last day of the season in 2003 maybe? It really hit home for me on the night they won in Istanbul...less said about that the better...

West Ham annoy the hell out of me as well...crappy club in a crappy part of London, always claiming 1966 as theirs and the recent Olympic Stadium have really hit home what a bunch of....you get the picture.

Tottenham, Arsenal are just jealous off our recent success, I never let them get me down, on the line of the you have no history (and this applies to ALL teams), least we are making it! Since winning the Champions League that old chant has died down big time...

Don't like United - get the feeling that the rivalry/hatred is going to go up a notch now though...

Surprised no one has said Millwall? I know most of our attention in the old days was Leeds but both surely deserve to be listed?

The 3-2 against them when Eidur scored the overhead kick...one of my favourite memories when I was younger

I think, due to us not playing Millwall any time recently, no one has them top of mind.

It's Liverpool, followed by Arsenal and Spurs for me. I have a grudging respect for United because of their success over my time watching football, I wouldn't say I hate them, rivalry is one thing, which we all relish, but hating a team is something different. Similar to Man City, i don't begrudge them either, they play good football and the injection of cash has transformed them, and it's always good to have more competition in the league. I hate Liverpool the most because of the delusion of their fans, still clinging on to the success of 30 years ago, going on about every player they sign as 'world class', how their history makes them great, etc etc. Arsenal second because of the sh*t they talk about us, and the same with Spurs, a historically mediocre team, who begrudge us our success out of spite and jealousy.

Liverpool for a million reasons. The club and fans are just full of dire human beings.

Arsenal because their fans are self entitled "purist" hipsters.

Celtic for being bigots.

Spurs for being like Arsenal but with even fewer cashable cheques.

I don't really care abut the rest tbh. QPR and Spammer fans are scummy knuckle-draggers but meh I don't give them much thought in truth.

Rottenham Sh*tspur first - lousy club, lousy followers, lousy ground White Fart Lane, lousy firm, lousy district. Full of hatred, extremly stupid, so that they have only one single song, unsuccessful for decades and born losers.

Pure hatred for the IRA (Provos) of Celtic and the mugs of Charlton.

Scousers, Arse, Manx, Citeh and Leeds to follow.

I don't really hate any club per se, but there are certain people affiliated with clubs that upset me and make me want the club to lose. Sometimes it's a specific player, manager, owner, etc. Sometimes it's a vocal subset of fans.

If those people were no longer associated with the club, or if I were to change my view of the odious individuals, the club would no longer bother me.

Also, I should mention that just because some individuals make me wish ill for a club, doesn't mean I dislike everyone associated with the club. Even at clubs I really want to lose, there are often still players or other individuals that I view positively.

Likewise, being a Chelsea fan doesn't mean that I'm a fan of everything and everyone associated with the club.

Sounds like a level headed fella there.. That's basically my view too..

Liverpool and Tottenham by a country mile at the moment. In the old days, Leeds was right up there as well.

Arsenal are good for a laugh and Manchester United's decline in the last few years means my dislike for them has worn off somewhat. If they become a powerhouse again then I'm sure the hate will return.

I find Manchester City irrelevant so I don't care about them despite being a direct challenger for the title these days.

Thanks :)

I wanted Liverpool to lose when Suarez was there, but now that he's gone I'm apathetic toward them. A lot of the ill feelings seem to stem from the way they acted decades ago, before my time.

My most hated club at the moment are Tottenham. Several clubs annoy me, but they don't make my blood boil as much as Tottenham. That's not to say that there aren't people associated with the club that I view positively.

I was totally neutral about them until the Battle of the Bridge. It wasn't purely immature impulsive frustration. Some of it was premeditated malice; look at how much they did while they were still leading.

To be fair, we have players who have in the past acted that way too.

What I haven't seen among our fans is threads like the one linked below. Football fans of any club including ours can be major delusional pricks with massive double standards, but this thread still surprised me due to the fact that pro-thuggism was by far the prevailing view. Posters who dared to disapprove of the way their players acted were subject to vitriol including from one of the board moderators. You can find similar sentiments on other Tottenham boards and even leading Tottenham video channels.

I hate all of the clubs for one reason or another but if I had to pick one, it'd have to be Arsenal. The 'fans' of Northern clubs who live in London are irritants of course, but for me, if they have never been to the city, let alone the ground, I can't really take them seriously. They don't count as real fans in my eyes. I met one Liverpool fan from Liverpool who was a season ticket holder and he was alright to be fair.

On a side note, the players of the clubs don't really bother me. They come and go and every club in England has had some sh!tbags playing for them at some point.
