I agree and don't want to diminish his quality when we won the league, he's great at heading the ball as well so when we didn't want to play dangerously playing out the back there was the option of the GK punting it towards him and he'd win the ball 90% of the times, it relieved a lot of pressure and surely helped us see out a few games. We should never forget how good Alonso and Moses were, the wingbacks were a big reason why we won the league that season

I’ve mentioned before Alonso is ok when you play 3 central defenders. Then as a wing back if he gets caught up the pitch the extra defender doesn’t up set the shape as much when they come out wide to cover. Feel sorry for Tomori being so young and having to one out wide to deal with Alonsos absence.

Loic Remy was an important part of the 2014/15 title win coming on and scoring when needed, doesn't mean he was a good striker or Chelsea quality. 

With the quality we had up top under Conte, we could have had Bertrand at LWB and still won the league. 

The Ajax game was his last in a Chelsea shirt imo. If Emerson is injured Lampard will play Azpi at left back and play James at right back.

You almost have to feel sorry for him because it seems like he's lost even his most hardcore supporters that defended him throughout last season. Not his fault he's not good enough but i think it's best for all if he leaves as soon as possible. Quite a few videos on the web that's basically mocking him and his performances.

It's not like they play the same position. 

Both Alonso and Remy are to be thanked for their service. I haven't forgotten what Remy did in Jose's 2nd season, he scored many important goals coming off the bench. 

Conte wants him in January.

Think it would be best for all parties if he went to Inter.

I personally do think Emerson is our best LB, Dave is the worst fullback for attacking out of everyone. My opinion is Dave is playing LB because he is captain and there is no experience or leadership in that back 4 without him.

I would love Conte to pick up the title, would be a big achievement to beat that Juventus squad.

Played his best football under Conte so it’d make sense to reunite. He’s not going to get much playing time here.

Fs I just googled and found out Martinez is a striker, I thought it was another LB from the Serie A.
