November 20, 20169 yr I have a feeling this match could be far more difficult than many posters are predicting. Arsenal and Man City have come unstuck recently against Boro. They are on a winning streak and won't make it easy for us. We need to play as good as we have done to beat this lot. COME ON YOU BLUES !!! Edited November 20, 20169 yr by TheBluesBrother
November 20, 20169 yr Provided everyone is fit, I'd like to see the same starting line-up as the match against Everton. Big opportunity for us to go on top after Liverpool and Arsenal dropped points yesterday. Prediction: Middlesbrough 0-1 Chelsea Edited November 20, 20169 yr by Jezz
November 20, 20169 yr I think this will be tougher than the media think I reckon we'll win 0-2 but we'll have to work for it
November 20, 20169 yr It's in the north east and geographically speaking we seem to struggle in that area. I can see this being a tough game don't rule out a draw they seem to be good at shutting down big teams.
November 20, 20169 yr You always risk players losing form when they sit out for an extended period of time. Costa already sat out during the international break, if he sits out this one he will have gone three weeks without plying when we meet Spurs and thats far from ideal

I think Conte has made the necessary changes in personal and formation that makes us a lot more consistent. Although it is understandable that some of us are still a little worried about us holding form after the season we just went through.

I tend to be a pessimist by nature, sometimes I say it cause I believe in reverse jinxing lol
November 20, 20169 yr I know that so do you & thousands of fans @Scott but that counts for nothing if the gremlins are not with us.
November 20, 20169 yr Author Gremlins and jinxes belong with the witches and ghosts in the land of the imaginary.
November 20, 20169 yr I can see you have not seen the Film @coco, Now I really have got my work cut out to minimise the fall out. As for the Wembley in '97 @Scott My equilibrium was working to perfection. You unbelieves coco coco
November 20, 20169 yr Dunno why we bother with the whole forum malarkey, I'm just going to listen to her from now on

It's true, I know this yet I can stil be superstitious, I remember in the 05-06 season the times I didn't wear my shirt were the times we lost in the league to Man U (although that was because I was there and I had to sit in the United end) and Boro. I was convinced the losses were because I hadn't wore my shirt, I was also convinced the shirt thing only effected League games. After that Boro defeat I stopped wearing it altogether and just wore my Chelsea shirts when I played football or felt like it. It's really stupid for me to think something I did effected out league form lol Edited November 20, 20169 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
