Another reason for Willian on the bench is that he is far more effective off the bench than Pedro.

Very happy to have Costa back and Pedro starting, would have prefered Fabregas over Matic though.

Omg. once again we can scratch set pieces out as a way of scoring without willian or fabregas in the team. Watching pedro and hazard take set pieces is atrocious

Weirdly I noticed that before I noticed that Diego was in the side!

Assuming neither are injured, this leads me to wonder whether this (a dissatisfaction with Bran as a bench option when defending a lead) was part of Conté's motive for bringing back Aké. What is also interesting is that Zouma is on the bench ahead of either of them.
