a good half but if we'd been just a bit smarter (the Diego non-pass to Pedro) or a bit luckier (the Pedro blocked pass for Diego) we could have been out of sight.

Arsenal have a goal in them if we are not completely on it at the back.

 

I thought we played well. Really need a second goal though. 

Great start, should have been 3 or 4 up by the 30th minute. The 15 minutes since then have been a worry, taken the foot completely off the pedal and let a very poor side into a game that should be over.

Not a great half from us. Couple of things: lack of concentration in our own half and bad decisions in scoring chances.

That was a tough last 10 minutes to the half, but overall we have been the most dangerous side and should have at least scored 3. We get so many counter attacks, but we haven't been clinical enough. We need to watch out for Arsenal's delivery too because it's been pretty decent from corners.

Being clinical has saved us on several occasions this season, Diego is due us a goal made some bad decisions and was a bit greedy, we are dominating but arsenal have dangerous players they can score out of nowhere and they like to score late we need to get a Lid on this early in the second and not leave it 1-0 to the latter stages, way better for my blood pressure also. 

If we don't win this game that Costa chance will piss me off. 

For sure Wenger will bring on Giroud at some point in the second half. He's dangerous especially near the end of a match. He always tends to score. Good half. Kante Courtois Alonso were great but overall we have been good for our lead. We need to concentrate second half and put this game to bed. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

Arse will fight strong in the 2nd. We need to step up once more. We did slack towards the end of the 1st.
