Alonso doesn't seem to have his head screwed on today, he has looked a bit miffed all game and it's affecting his performance in a negative way.

Yeah the linesman gave it and Atkinson was forced to.  But the lads have played well and deserved it.

with the rule change, do you not now have to make a genuine attempt to play the ball? I.e. A deliberate handball with a striker standing beside you by a GK is certainly not that.

 

that was my understanding of the rule anyway.

 

The fact of the matter is anyway, Willian scored from a very similar position earlier in this game and th  ball was clearly fully out of the box

My friend, it's a deliberate move when you try not to move out of the way.  He shortened his stride hoping it would come down on Luiz.  And it did.  Of course there's a chance it wouldn't be he shortened his stride purposely. 

If we just play our game with energy we can win this. If we stay back and hoof the ball up this is level in no time.

Alot of our chances are coming from david luiz balls tbf
