No only allowed 5, so if an English team won the CL and another the CL and those teams weren’t in the top 4 then 4th would drop into the EL.

Thing is Brit they are, without doubt, the best side they have had in decades. Kane, Dembele, Erickson, Vertonghen, would all get a spot in our first team IMO. Son, Alli, Dier, Rose, Loris all good players. And I have always liked Lucas Moura he is an exciting player on his day. That squad is good enough to win things. The fact that they haven't is down to a brittle mentality under pressure rather than a lack of talent. If they manage to win one that losing mentality might disappear and be replaced with a positive, winners mentality. I really fear that could happen which is why the sooner some of their top players get impatient and look to move elsewhere the happier I will be.

Their best chance to have won the league was last season and the season before. Their best chance to win the CL was this year when it's at it's weakest, and best chance to win an FA cup was today. They have bottled every opportunity given to them.

There is a big difference between being better than the shambles we currently are and they were, and being a top side...for three successive seasons, they have had a good chance to win a trophy and failed...judge them by the standards we have set in the Abramovich era and they don't come close...the competition will only get harder, especially as City have the quality, finances and temperament to win more silverware; Liverpool have overtaken sp*rs and as average as Utd have been under Jose, he still knows how to win things...hopefully we will bounce back too...so for all the hype over sp*rs, their golden opportunity may have been and gone...it must stick in the craw of Kane and co that one of the more average players, Kyle Walker, left and is now on a lot more money than them and has won two trophies to boot...only a matter of time before they up sticks too

The only thing I would say is in recent times we started from a low point, winning the ZDS getting thumped by Utd 4-0 at the old Wembley and the next time with some older purchases that had bene previous winners did we lift the cup.

I actually would love to see Pochettino go to Real or PSG. I think he’s fall flat on his arse there and the media love in would end.

Eh the media will over cook it and say they’re the best PL side ever but the fact is when we got our record points total the league was of a much better standard. For a start there were actually great defenders in the league at that time.

yeah city have done great, but the league's quality has been a bit pshhh since for a few years now. the quality of players, for one, has severely diminished in this league. leicester winning the league would never have happened 10 years ago for e.g. 

we talk about our youth getting a chance, and at least conte has given a couple of them game time. man city are in a dead rubber game vs swansea at home and foden is the only youth player included. and he didn't come on until late in the game when they were 4-0 up already. on to the summer when pep spends another 60m on thiago alcantra (would be f**king envious of that one too) and 200m on another couple players despite having the second best academy in england.

Their youth team is in same competition as ours in Nyon. They lost yesterday against Barcelona.

Unbelievable ... Well actually kinda believable since we're talking about the usual suspects here ... My piece of advice : don't watch BBC/SKY etc ... waste of time!!Personnally, I am just watching CFC games and after FT, I tune in a cfc podcast or a football podcast on youtube that seems unbiased. the english rotten punditry scene don't need my attention nor time !! Actually, the french do a decent job most of the time on SFR sports. pretty unbiased in general. But you gotta know french of course ! Otherwise, folks on NBSCN and Sportsnet are generally ok. Fox Sports are decent too. Compared to BBsh*tte and Skyscousers, it's a million times better !
