Why the f**k did the ref give 5min injury time? Both goals scored in 1 half......nothing major happened in 2nd half...yet 5 freaking mins.

5 points clear off spuds

8 points clear off le arse

may stay 3rd if dippers don't win by 3 tommorrow ...

this win at brighton was extremely important !

Now, onto Wednesday game ...

Also, D-29 before the big game.

You have my permission to ask that at about 11pm on Wednesday.

Are we afraid of le arse nowadays :laugh2::laugh2:? More seriously, I was asking that regarding calendar congestion. As for the FA cup game though, I would really like to know if we'd have to play on the 17th of ferbruary 3 days before the first leg against barça.

Of course you're right the next round so one less thing for the Geordies to moan about and it is presumptuous looking ahead like that.

come on, it's just the geordies ! But in all fairness, if we reproduce what we did against norwich, we are f*****!

they did not have Neymar and Mbappé was subbed off due to injury (minor). Alves was sent off too for a controversial challenge. But PSG are more than ever ruling this farmer league though. 8 points clear and Lyon f**king up regularly on the road, PSG will lift the trophy by April again...

the title race has resumed as Lyon are now trailing 8 points behind PSG :laugh2::laugh2:

still you can't take nothing away from the effort of OL - still good for them defeating PSG

Absolutely. They were the better team in terms of shots on target and opportunities. But PSG was far more better technically speaking and threatening OL a lot as long as they were  11 vs 11. the sending off at the 60th mark was a game changer imo. This PSG can still be dangerous without their main firepower. But they seem to struggle a lot when pressure is applied on their wingbacks or in the midfield. Although Lo Celso and Rabiot were quite good today.

don't forget OL scored first - come on don't be a hater - respect the fact that OL won the match over PSG - true they probably won't win the league but they defeated PSG & that should count for something

I totally agree actually. It's just that despite the defeat, PSG did not look that bad though... which means OL were definitely impressive ! Unfortunately, I doubt this will put a dent to PSG's form because, who knows, in case of a miracle by us, we know we'll have to play them next in the UCL QF

Which is why we should watch this game closely ... could also be useful against barça or city for instance !

I watched the Betis vs Barca match today - it was very close for the first 60 minutes with the score tied at zero, then Barca turned it up a notch or Betis got tired - you can choose which happened but Barca ended up winning 5-0 - scored all their goals in the last 30 minutes of the match - Betis had chances but they don't have the quality to defeat a team like Barca - maybe Don Antonio can get something from that match - I don't know

their games against Valencia, ATM and Espanyol in la copa del rey could also prove useful. Also the 1st half of el clasico could be good too.

true - one thing for sure, their gaffer is good at pulling the strings

Barça won 5-0 at Betis Sevilla. They will be ready for our game. I hope we will be too! Imagine Willian scoring the winner for us... :laugh2:

quite funny how everyone was saying barcelona were in turmoil at the start of the season and were raving about madrid again, oh how things change. not too disimilar to how people were writing us off last season. i don't think anybody realised how poor real madrid would be this season. they aren't safe in 4th either with villarreal up their ass. quite a few people who saw the real madrid game said their attack was good, but their defence was poor again, it's just that they were playing a really poor team who couldn't exploit their defensive weaknesses.
