Depay... one of the most inconsistent players I've seen. Lacked pace and gave the ball back to the opposition on a regular basis. Might've tried to hard or the PL just didn't suit him, scored the occasional screamer or some spectacular goal. But overall quite disappointing...

Have you seen that we're paying Sanchez 750k a week now... the media forgot to include vet bills for the coming years.

I think United will get the best out of him, it will be a like a Van Persie signing again, you'll get a good 2-3 years out of him.

He suits United more than he does City, I've watched Alexis since Udinese and he's a sloppy player for all the positives he has. Pep shunned him for that reason, and he's still the same at Arsenal, I don't think Pep would be interested in signing Sanchez again.

Something is wrong at United for me, they lack a good player in attack, you've got Martial, Mata, Mikhi, Rashford & Lindgaard and it isn't efficient enough. Mikhi is the weak link, swapping him for Sanchez is a smart move despite the wages he'll be getting, it actually makes me angry how Chelsea aren't thinking of hijacking the deal. But all things considered with our wage cap it wouldn't make sense.

Depay is the new Queresma. He has all of the talent to be one of the best players in the word, but not the attitude to back it up.

I sometimes feel the same with Pogba, but he does have an amazing ability at such a young age. 

I think Utd will go for Lukaku in the centre with Martial and Sanchez either side.

The attack will be supported by Pogba and in DM it will be Matic yet they feel they need another DM yet not Herrera.

Going forward they should be special yet defensively still vulnerable for those who dare!

 

I think Mata will be on the bench going forward.

I hope so... I didn't really understand why Citeh would be in for him in the first place with all their attacking options. Swapping Micky for him is one of Woodwards best jobs so far.

One day it's 350k, the next it's close to 600k and a couple of days later it's close to a gazillion since we have to take vet bills, gas bills, parking bills, heating for his house and shoe laces for the next 100 years into those figures

I can imagine he'll be on hefty wages with the demand and cheap transfer but it's still definitely a deal United should pursue if they have any hopes of levelling City next season. All United need to do now is get good wingbacks but they won't, Jose will not adapt to the modern game, he wants defensive fullbacks over attacking wingbacks, that's where he's going wrong imo.

Valencia, Shaw and Young have been allowed to go further up the pitch from what I can tell. Darmian who is the most defensive of those four haven't played that much and I hope he leaves, preferably yesterday. Shaw has been quite good in his last outings and I hope he keeps performing. But yeah, we need new players on those positions since both Valencia and Young are 30+. Time will tell...

To be fair to both Darmian and Blind, I thought they did really well for you last season when you had all those defensive injuries and the match backlog with the Europa competition.

Defensively Darmian was ok... but going forward he lacks pace and creativity. Valencia does the occasional shin-shot instead of crossing... but he offers so much more and isn't any worse than Darmian in the defense. Blind has also been ok. But he's like John O'shea, not perfectly suited for a specific position but can play in lots of positions. But as you know Mourinho doesn't change his starting players as much as our previous managers and he rarely gets any time on the pitch. I'm not against keeping Blind, but I don't want us to keep Darmian

Swans 1-0 up which is nice to see! Hope they end up with something tonight. Really crucial liverpool and spurs keep dropping points around us.
