Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018

This is why I never understand clubs in relegation zone or trouble hire dinosaur managers like pulis or allardyce etc rather than foreign managers from spanish 2nd division segunda or Portugal as they're more likely to play well and not rely on totally disgusting tactics of hoof and hope.

4 f**king mins people.......where  the hell did the ref get that from? Nothing happened ffs.........ohhh damn I forgot, its called game management.

That’s what I was saying to my mate. They could have the worlds best defenders but it’s the tactics why they concede. I honestly stopped worrying about Liverpool after they collapsed last season chasing us.

I think we will finish second.

You know it’s kind of sh*t now cause finish 2-4 the prize is the same. Automatic qualification to the CL. The difference is probably not much financially either.

All the more reason for us to sign Dzeko, Liverpool with Dzeko or Mandzukic are guaranteed top 4 imho.

I'm heading for rawk but I forgot the popcorn... Suggestions for a substitute?

That Firmino header goes in instead of the post and one of Salah or Mane produce a finish they typically produce and we'd be hailing a well fought 2-1 victory, the sign of champions.

My favourite so far... :laugh2:

fantasy football - fantastic, it's always consoling to think what might have been :laugh2:

Get in! Every time we play like sh*t and drop points, the others do as well.

We had a couple draws before our win and it's the second time this season where I thought we were on the road to potentially drop out of the top 4 but they just keep dropping points not long after.

What a difference a weekend makes...Spurs and Liverpool looked like they had all the momentum last week and we were sinking...beating Brighton was good but no real shock despite our recent form...but both our top four rivals dropping points against similarly weak opposition is a real bonus...

For me the answer is quite obvious... But if it's us two and city for the top three, would you rather have pool or spurs for fourth?

I prefer Liverpool

I'd prefer neither. Both gets bigheaded and unnecessary media coverage. Would rather some other club in the CL next season.

For me it actually doesn't matter who gets it. As long as it ain't Liverpool... Watching them fail is almost as good as watching United win. The joy when you beat them and Crystanbul... I'll always remember that :laugh2:

I think we're all guilty of getting too pessimistic and looking at our rivals and maybe over-rating them slightly. Easily done when we look as bad as we did in a couple of the recent games where we nevere looked like scoring and the dippers and Spuds were scoring for fun, but it doesn't take much for things to change. Amazes me how the dippers have this ability of usually playing so well against the top teams but struggling when they play the likes of Swansea. Amazes me, yet pleases me greatly!

Still a LONG way to go.
