they look so much sharper, which is understandable considering they've had more pre-season games. people shouldn't have looked too much into their losses against arsenal and milan, they have a bloody good side out there.

We are being exposed by some quality play.

f**k sake. Not blaming the pitch for the score. But what has football come to when we have to travel to Asia for our pre season to earn some money, instead of actually getting ready for the season on normal pitches.

exactly! people are going to be so quick to shout "poor" but they're ahead on fitness and it's showing.

3rd if you count Fulham, but point taken.  Bayern are class at the best of times.  As long as we don't fold and lose by a huge margin.

Bayern themselves had a shocker the other day though, they got battered 4-0 by AC Milan. It's best not to read too much into friendlies.

Exactly.  If we play like this in the Community Shield, for example, then I'd be worried.
