okay, i know Ampadu is still young and all, but i saw shades of Matic in him. and no, that's not a compliment

He's primarily a CB isn't he, so it is unsurprising that he looked a little bit uncomfortable at CM

How? He looked decent on the ball and isnt immobile

Good performance all over. I hope we see more of Musonda this season, i also think Christensen and Rudiger should be ahead of Cahill now and i also think they could give Luiz some tough competition too.

Musonda needs to eat more meat, still looking small

good to see some of the youngsters impress.

Ampadu absolutely nailing a forest player within a min of his debut was a highlight! He looks very strong physically considering the lad is only just 17. He was barking orders aswell, so he doesn't lack confidence. May need to improve his passing range, but he looks exciting.

Rudiger's passing is awesome!

Christensen and Clarke-Salter being personally told just how badly things can go by Mancienne is the greatest victory of all

What?

Sucks for Mancienne but its the nature of the business

That doesn't sound right, he's a pretty short guy. His short passing game was OK, but long passes forward weren't great. He should get a Championship loan next season.

I'm pretty sure it is where he has been playing for the youth teams

Wtf are you on about?

do you have to swear?

Good game. Fantastic effort from the young guys. Can't believe we conceded at the end but that was probably complacency kicking in at the final seconds. Rudiger and Christensen pushing for that CB spot bodes well for the future. Cahill has to keep up or else it'd really be the bench for him.

I don't think musonda's size is that much of an issue, he has great technique and acceleration so it is rare he finds himself in physical tussle.

It definitely is, especially our league, at one point on the edge of teh forest box you saw him try and go through couldn't gave it to hazard barged his way through, doesn't matter how good you are physical strength is necessary, I'm surprised the coaching team havn't tried to bulk him up he is unusually slight for a professional athlete
