Manure being sihte; sh*tty winning unconvincingly; spuds getting stuffed at home and bin dippers losing due to a late winner ... What a great UCL night !!! I'm just fuming at the fact that we missed on the UCL since all of these clubs are actual jokes so far in the UCL :mad: !!

Wonder what the media will make of Liverpool this week?

2 defeats and a draw in the past 3 games, doesn’t seem like any champions to me.

They'll probably sing YNWA while crying ...

nobody seems to be setting the Champions League alight, certainly none of the English clubs. I think there's a fair chance that Spurs and possibly Liverpool end up in the Europa League

spuds are definitely going to UEL : they have to play at the nou camp and if Inter win vs PSV at home and get a draw at home vs barça, they will be through ! Bin dippers seem to be going through since they will get belgrade now for 2 games in a row and will finish at anfailed vs napoli. sh*tty will scrap its way to the Ro16 and Manure will not qualify to the Ro16!!They will get 0/6 vs Juve and get defeated by Valencia ! And since Valencia will get 6/6 vs young boys, before the last game, manure and valencia would have 7pts each !

Wish we were in the CL this season. I think we would do pretty well. Has anybody noticed how much weaker the CL has been the last two/three seasons? The quality and consistency isn't there as much with the big teams any longer. Like last season, we had a fairly poor season yet could have beat Barcelona if not for silly mistakes. Real Madrid have lost Ronaldo, Barcelona rely heavily on Messi, Bayern have looked notably average since last season. I felt like this season and last season are/were the best times for English clubs to capitalise on the weaker CL.

It says a lot about Spud fans and Pochettino when they say they played well and they are proud of that performance. Barcelona would have scored 6 on another day, they dominated the game until they let Tottenham back into it. If they are proud of that performance then they will never go far in the Champions League.

I won't complain about that then !

Wonder what Jurgen will change of Liverpool this week?

I only saw a little of Liverpool tonight but from what I saw they looked a bit jaded. Salah was rubbish, in fact the front 3 didn't do much at all. I thought too that Napoli were able to pass their way around and through Liverpool pretty comfortably. Is the gegen-press running out of steam already?

Every so called big teams look very weak : Barça heavily dependent on Messi; bayern bang average; Real madrid showing limits and huge weaknesses vs CSKA and in la liga; PSG have yet to show something vs better opposition. However, Juve look strong and the only big team being solid this season. Atlético Madrid look pretty good too so far and will certainly go very far this season. Apart from these two, almost guaranteed to go to the semis if things stay like that, there might be room for a "revenant" like Inter : 2 wins in a row, playing some sexy stuff and have the surprise effect in their favour. Also, I think there won't be a single english club in the semis this year and barely one in the QF. For PSG, this will be all or nothing : either they finish 3rd or win their group and go to the semis. Lyon might do well this year and can hope for QF. Actually, and as surprising as it may sound, we may have a Lyon vs PSG QF this year. Finally, I think that RM, Bayern and pool won't be in the semis this season. Barça, aka Uefalona, might get there if they get a favourable draw and some favourable ref calls (both are to be expected haha). As for the english sides : spuds will go to UEL with manure, sh*tty will scrap through it and bin dippers will qualify as well. Afterwards, sh*tty and bin dippers will either both miss out on the QF or one of them only will qualify.

Some things should never change then?
