Wish we were in the CL this season. I think we would do pretty well. Has anybody noticed how much weaker the CL has been the last two/three seasons? The quality and consistency isn't there as much with the big teams any longer. Like last season, we had a fairly poor season yet could have beat Barcelona if not for silly mistakes. Real Madrid have lost Ronaldo, Barcelona rely heavily on Messi, Bayern have looked notably average since last season. I felt like this season and last season are/were the best times for English clubs to capitalise on the weaker CL.

Thats a good thing as far as i'm concerned. nothing worse than clubs and fans having a sense of entitlement

Spurs haven't even finished building their new stadium yet and it's already a hindrance to them.

I have no doubt in my mind that the rising stadium costs were the reason they didn't sign any new players in the summer and they're going to suffer for it this year.

They've already lost twice in the league and they've lost their opening two games in the Champions League as well.

From one game to the next they don't know where they're going to be playing their home fixtures... That they played a league cup match in Milton Keynes was embarrassing.

I think initially it was said their new stadium was going to cost £400m to build. Some recent estimates have suggest the build could end up costing as much as £1.2b... It's little wonder Chelsea have put our rebuild on an indefinite hold.

Indeed. As far as I'm concerned, all these plans about rebuilding SB are complete BS. We don't need a fcuking ibrary like the emirates or the ethiad ffs !!

I only saw a little of Liverpool tonight but from what I saw they looked a bit jaded. Salah was rubbish, in fact the front 3 didn't do much at all. I thought too that Napoli were able to pass their way around and through Liverpool pretty comfortably. Is the gegen-press running out of steam already?

Let's hope.

LOL BATE got BATE'red.

I'm rooting for them to keep him for as long as possible.

He won't be f**ked off until top 4 is mathematically out of reach. It's just a suffer test until then.

Given Man U's handling of Moyes (who had a far lesser reputation), I'm minded to agree. Mind, Mourinho's start to this season has been even worse.

How they have been allowed to get away with the switching of stadiums is something that really should be investigated.

So is their 'home ground'  The new white hart lane, Wembley or Milton Keynes ?

Jose apparently done for this weekend, whether they lose or win he will get his p45......or has received it already but given one last home match to say his bye's to the fans. Carrick takes over? Or maybe Giggsey? They will either have Zidane or Poch NeXT season.

Apparently we are going to sack him. Would love to see them destroyed at the Bridge, but gotta be honest, one part of me will be sad if Jose's career at highest levels ends up like this. Cuz' this is definitely his last big club. Couldn't be compromised than that.
