Newcastle never beat Man Utd. I was very tempted at 0-2 to put a bet on a Man utd win, but the odds didn't seem worth it.

Good result. Mourinho stays at Utd and the pressure is off for now. It was a game they should have been winning anyway ffs. Dunno why people acting like it's a fantastic win. Coming back from 0-2 down against Newcastle should have been a given

It does feel that they get easy points too many times doesn't it?

Absolutely.......look at spurs today.....or their last epl game where once agaon the ref was more than willing to give them a pen which was a huge dive by rose.

When I heard Mata was coming on was very tempted to bet on him to score, yet thought I would leave my betting until tomorrow.

It's a result that'll merely paper over the cracks at United. 2 down after 8 minutes against one of the worst teams in the league (they're probably level with Cardiff in the sh*tness stakes), and it should have been more with the chances Newcastle had. Even after one their goals (can't remember was it the first or second), Diame missed a sitter from a corner.

Against a better side United would have been hammered today. All the positivity from this result isn't going to change the fact that their backline and central midfield are sh*te.

Got a feeling they could play much better if they had Mata as a regular AM and Pogba either on the bench or a DM. Sanchez and Martial with Lukaku in a front three would be better too. Like Tammy, Rashford needs a loan.

this result might mess us up & mess up Yanited - for us, RM will push harder to get The Mighty Eden into their fold - for Yanited, ZZ might be going back to RM w/ more power at hand

dude, much to our regret it's inavitable, hazard will be gone one way or another

When the f**k will Ars meet better teams? They are on a 7 win run or something and scoop pts every game whether they are sh*t or not.........

I've seen their last 3 games, they were battered left right center for the most of the games but in the end they won them as the luckiest bastards

Arsenal are relying on individual brilliance from their attacking quartet (Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil, Mkhitaryan) rather than any sort of cohesive shape as a side. Hence, they are still vulnerable defensively - Monreal giving the ball away prior to Schurrle's goal was amateurish for example.

So when are teams going to clock on to Arsenal's tactics? It's been obvious since Emeri arrived. They get it out wide quickly and cut it back, they do it in pretty much every attack. It's puzzling that teams are allowing them to do this in every game. You look at most of Arsenal's goals this season and you will see that they have come from those cut backs / low crosses. Stop that and you stop Arsenal.

Benitez is the reason Newcastle are losing this. He did what he always does, he chickened out and took out the threat in attack. He's always been good at throwing away results when his team have scored twice.

Spot on Scott. 99% of the time he always errs on the side of caution. Part of me would love Ashley to give him 200 million to spend. They would still be a 2nd rate team with a 3rd rate manager.

Fulham have been frustrating. So many times they could have put the ball into the box for Mitrovic and they pull out of it. Then they shoot from long range on weird angles when a cross would be better. Mitrovic is big, strong and decent in the air.......why wouldn't you put the ball into the box?
