I think if Sanchez comes straight in and immediately starts over Kepa than it gives me the impression Kepa's head is turned and wants the move.

If he does go there has to be a big up to the owners.

I thought it would take 3 windows to get rid of the dead wood but they’ve done really well shifting the players we have and most for good money.

I don't think you can read too much into it given Sanchez is drastically more talented than Kepa and no doubt was signed to replace him sooner rather than later.

I expected Kepa to start the season but Sanchez to be our number 1 by October so seeing Kepa phased out earlier wouldn't be a surprise.  This news has given everyone I know a massive lift.

We all thought we'd be stuck with Kepa till his contract expired and he left on a free but if we can actually move him on we've done a tremendous job.

Various reports are suggesting BM are interested in a loan with option to buy.

Hmm I still think this rumour is BS, we would be stupid to accept a loan with only a buy option imo, however more and more are reporting the interest is true and next in their list after the Kane deal.

They want a loan, ok then 7mill loan fee, all wages paid by them, mandatory buy option next summer for 23mill.

Calling Kepa deadwood is sad. Im not a big fan of him but he and other players like Kai cant be bad or 'deadwood' keep been signed up by top European teams like Bayern. 

Oh better idea. Tell Bayern to drop the Kane interest.

Instead of 95mill Kane, 65mill for Kepa and Lukaku. They save 30mill, get keeper and striker sorted, and we save a packet in wages.

Bayern want to spend all their transfer budget on Kane, but they are desperate for a keeper. Loaning Kepa for a season then paying for the transfer next year is the plan.   Problem is if we buy a replacement this window and they don’t buy him next season we’ll be stuck with 3 main keepers .

Has to be a loan with an obligation to buy. 

Football is a funny old game, a few years back the same storied Kraut serial winners wanted CHO and rocked up with $ 40 mill, was declined, now Fulham are offering $ 2 mill for CHO and we're declining again.

Now Kepa a man who seemed destined to warm the bench 2 seasons ago when big ears was hoisted high is now sought after by the same Bavarian outfit  IF its at all true I say sell him only no loan that's just doing them a favor

I wasn’t saying any of them are terrible players. Far from it but several had become deadwood at Chelsea especially with the MP coming in with a different philosophy.

Some will do well, some wont.

When did Tuchel like Kepa?  Tuchel Always preferred Mendy as our keeper when he was Chelsea manager.

Music to my ears. Get the deal done.

We don't have a backup keeper if Kepa is sold and I'm  not convinced Sanchez is going to start in front of Kepa just yet.

If this was 2 years ago I'd be up for this, maybe even 2 months ago. But right at this minute Kepa is probably the best option we could think of. 

If we lose him now we are playing Robert Sanchez in goal and he was bought in to play second fiddle (maybe). If we bought Sanchez to be number one, Ben Roberts (our GK coach) knows something no one else knows. 

If we lose Kepa we need to go into the market for a keeper.

If I was Kepa, I'd go to Bayern Munich in a heartbeat. This chance will not raise its head very often. He's had a tough time at Chelsea to say the least.

To be fair, Mendy was the goods at the time. Excellent, if not the complete keeper. Later, injury struck, he badly lost confidence, then form.

sanchez has all the deficiencies that Kepa has, by last seasons form possibly worse.
