August 10, 20232 yr Am i wrong that the first thought that crossed my mind was footballing Shallow Hal!
August 10, 20232 yr I can't see why we would even contemplate a loan with buy option? If Kepa has 2 years remaining then the club will want him gone for good.
August 10, 20232 yr Real and Bayern are two very wealthy clubs, yet both want loans with buy options? Either is mandatory buy or we should tell them to take a hike, or they have to buy Lukaku as part of the deal.

We'll probably take the option to buy in either the hope Bayern do buy him or we negotiate a very low transfer fee to accommodate his wages for whoever does by him next summer.

Him coming back with 1 year left won't make him easy to sell though. This is an opportunity with both these sides interested to ensure the clause is mandatory.

Because his wages don't make him easy to shift on a permanent, now or obligation in a year. Peversly his 7 year contract is somewhat helping us at this stage. With the way we were moving early on with the new ownership we would have 100% rewarded his October purple patch with a new contract if his current one was winding down, his contract situation means we finally have a chance. August 10, 20232 yr If Pochettino wants to stick with Kepa then he is a player we should try and keep hold of. If we decide to sell/loan Kepa out we need to go for either a new number one or trust Sanchez to be number one and buy a backup. If we are short of 2-3 midfielders, a winger and a keeper we are in a bloody hurry here and will have to scrape the bottom of the barrel anyway at this point of window.

If we can't get a long term option in get Navas on a one year deal then reaccess (assuming Madrid don't aim for him themselves now).
August 10, 20232 yr Author We only just signed a backup keeper. We'd have to sign another one again. Doesn't make any sense.

Tuchel can have the f**ker back , seeing as how he thought he was the "final piece of the jigsaw" for us, he can show us all what he saw in him .🤪🤪🤪 Italics?
August 10, 20232 yr Maybe they are only allowed to shoot from 5 yards straight at the keeper in Germany and Spain ?

August 10, 20232 yr Kepa worth is still €22m on the FFP books If we shipped him for 30m then that's a positive result. 34 minutes ago, Sexyfootball said: Kepa plus £50m in exchange for for Tchouameni ? Oh pretty please ... 🙂 I think we've been linked with too many CMs today.

August 10, 20232 yr Hmm Kepa wanted by Bayern and Real. To listen to our fan base you'd think you're pure garbage. Wonder how near perennial finalists in all cups and strong contenders for their respective leagues deem you worthy enough.

Yet neither are willing to pay a single euro for Kepa and have only considered him as a cheap last minute loan option after both losing their number 1's too injury. Think that's a bit different than the people here thinking Kepa should be our number 1. If Madrid or Bayern really wanted Kepa they'd have moved for him before they both ended up with no keeper days before the season starts or they'd actually pay a fee for him.
