Manchester United and Liverpool are much more popular in the States, with zero American players, right now. If Pulisic leaves, it is no contest. Pulisic is the reason Chelsea are even mentioned in the same breath as the other two.

United are genuinely the only English club that has a bigger American fanbase than Chelsea. 

We became one of the most supported teams in America since the mid 2000s when the Premier League was accessibly broadcasted in the states. A convenient time to given that was when we won back to back titles. 

This whole idea that we will lose American fans is utterly nonsense.

United are on a different spectrum over here. I frigging hate em. But Americans love them. Chelsea has a good base here now. Losing Pulisic and not qualifying for Champions league would hurt. You can believe whatever you want. America is a free country.

I will believe what I want because I am one of the hundreds of millions of American fans that started following Chelsea when the Premier League was first broadcasted in the states on Fox Soccer Channel in 2004. We became one of the biggest and supported clubs circa 2004-2015 and I've seen first hand our American fanbase across the country and it dwarfs other Premier League teams. 

Pulisic being sold would put a minuscule and unnoticeable dent to our fanbase, and I say good riddance to them.

And Pulisic used to be the only American playing in the PL. Leeds has bumped Chelsea off of the USAnetwork game of the week twice over here simply because of Aaronson, Adams and Marsch. Fulham now has Ream and Robinson and they are generating a heck of a lot of support over here. Americans are going to follow their players. Chelsea will always have their strong base, guys like you who are tried and true. Just expect much more support now for other clubs as more Americans are playing there, and less if Pulisic leaves.

Sorry my friend, but "no trade" contracts do not exist in football. Players do not have the same power they do in the NBA - although in my view that is sometimes a bad thing about football
