Surely i'm not seeing people claim Pulisic should be getting more game time at Chelsea off the back of 2 games for USA? Should be one of the first players we try to shift in January, hopefully these games are enough to convince someone to take a gamble on him.

Doesn't matter who we play right now, they will all look like sh*t playing this slow, recycled passing. Our whole game needs an overhaul.

Pulisic thriving and Mount getting dropped, fingers crossed that's a trend that continues when we're back in a few weeks.

Discussion about Mount VS puli make no sense. 

Puli is at his best when playing up high almost exclusively as final third guy. 

Mount is at his best playing as connector between midfielder and attacker. 

Just decide what you want your attacker to do. If you want them to do both then play Mount because puli is so bad when he has to drop deep. 

I would take Pulisic over Sterling most nights. But Pulisic does seem to be a man without a position. Is he a striker? I mean yes but not someone you build a team around. Is he a mid? Not even close. He seems to do best when being allowed to run around with seeming little defensive requirements. This is not to say he does not play defense or play hard. It just seems that his best moments tend to be on offense rushing the net or picking rebounds. He is also very good with the ball but does not seem to have the ability to set up the other strikers. 

Due to his size I would suggest that he needs to make himself more into the mold of a Mount if he wants to reach a higher level. He has the dibbling skills but seems to lack the understanding of when to go and stop and drop when playing that connecting role. 

The obvious struggle with him right now is that he does not fit into the Chelsea lineup. But is talented enough to not want to give away. He is a nice 12th man who can play a bunch of different positions well and can give you a goal now and again.

I think Mount is actually a much better player than he had shown in this WC.

There's really no reason why both Pulisic and Mount can't be on the pitch at the same time together. Just put them in their best positions to succeed, and I am sure they will produce for Chelsea.

Agreed. We have To remember that exept the absolute best national teams most of the PL teams would beat these teams in WC. It doesn't take away the fact that Pulisic and let's say Ziyeh have played much better than for Chelsea. 

But all the same let's hope someone takes Pulisic in January.

They don't really favor the same zone so there is no reason for them not to be able to play together. 

He's had a decent World Cup, so fair play to him for that. Hopefully he has done enough to spark some interest for a permanent move in January !

Doubt he will move due to no-one else willing to match his salary.

Why not? Still only 24, entering the last 18mths of his contract, and his wages at £150k/w isn’t really that ridiculous. Newcastle will certainly be interested, Klopp might still have a look if he decides not to renew Firmino’s contract and moves Jota back to 9, a move back to Dortmund isn’t far fetched, Italian giants will be interested, and won’t discount Barca if they move on Depay.

If Pulisic's next move is gametime motivated he wouldn't go anywhere near Liverpool.

Luis Diaz has that spot on the left under lock and key.

Without blowing smoke up a rivals ass too much, is he really good enough for Liverpool anyway?

Is he even good enough to start for Newcastle when they have a full team to pick from?  WC is over for him, doubt he's going anywhere until the summer.
