I feel like he's the type of player that doesn't do well in low exposure you know what I mean?

He needs the big pots to shine, he goes big or goes home, gotta play him in the big matches against big teams on big stadiums and get him a +size model girlfriend, there is where he really shines. Him vs Martinelli next weekend let's go it aint over till it's over!

 

There are rumours about him having a bust up with Potter. Matt Law has claimed it isn't true. If it does turn out to be true we should sell him asap since this will be the second manager in a row, he's had a problem with and at that point he's the problem

So quite in this thread now. Rather suspicious that HazardousChoice disappeared not long as Tim got banned. Probably followed him to wherever Tim is now lol

I thought he looked bright tonight coming on despite a thing or two I've read in the match thread.

Didn't @coco ban both of them so we could have some peace of mind amidst the chaos?

Tim was hit permanently with the ban hammer. Haz was given a weekend cool down and did not come back since.

If we play the formation we played last night, there is room for both. Sterling on the right, Pulisic on the left. One less defender means an extra space for an attacker.

I think you're right as Pulisic is better on the dribble and better at creating.

Sterling isn't offering anything in run of play. He plays like he's 33 not 27.

That's because gamewise he is. He started his career before he turned 16 playing for QPR, then was playing for Liverpool not long after that.

Here's 27 years old bit look at Rooney and Torres, how did they look at 30 and beyond? We signed up a 27 year old that really is more like a 32 or 33 year old that needs his pace to be effective. It was one of a long list of stupid transfers our owners made. Only Neil Bath may save this window by pushing for Carney, Hutchinson, Casadei and Solonia. And that's if they actually get a chance and turn out to be good.

Because, imo, all of the players signed for the first team are massive duds and either equal too or lesser than the players they replaced.

Again only my opinion however:

Cucurella < Alonso

Aubameyang =Lukaku

Sterling < Werner

Koulibaly <<<Rudiger

At this point for me yes.

Alonso was definitely better going forward (and scoring) than Cucurella, defensively I don't think there is much in it!

Work rate for me Mod. Otherwise they are the same players. Both have pace, both need multiple chance to score, both have poor technique.

Yeah that doesn't sound like him.  

I don't think Pulisic is getting a fair shake. Was bright for a few weeks and adding a dimension nobody else could.

Then Potter put him at RWB and quickly decided he's had enough of that.

If as a sub he needs to come on much earlier to have a chance to impact.

But I keep asking myself since Pulisic has had some good moments of late, what are Sterling and Mount doing which somehow is preventing Pulisic from getting a real run? I don't see it. 

Even coming on late mid week he could have had two late assists.
