I don't think that was a clear and obvious error by the linesman. Kane looks like he is leaning offside imo.

Not sure what Kepa was doing both clattering into Kane and then on the penalty. Can’t argue with either the offside decision or the penalty itself. It’s a shame as I think we’d had the better of the game to that point. Don’t concede again before half time and then let’s come on strong in the second half and shut the whining spurs fans up who are bemoaning every single decision the ref makes

The whole “clear and obvious” thing doesn’t apply for offsides. Similar to the goal line technology. It’s either offside or not/over the line or not.

The only time I see Hazard throw his hands up in frustration is at Alonso. I'm half surprised on that basis alone, we dont see more of Emerson. 

We started off well, shame about the penalty. Hudson-Odoi looked positive, but Willian and Alonso combined down that LW are not good.

I actually like the way Barkley is playing today, looking to get forward and get shots off, that’s what I expected when we signed him.

 

Willian has been anonymous & the times he has had the ball he’s made the wrong decisions IMO

alonso has had 3 opportunities to play the ball down the channel and he's over hit every one.

Decent ball in there, I think he is capable of decent crosses but I would prefer to see Emerson get some minutes. Willian to me has been the poorest performerzperformers
