Something positive about the recruitment model and praise to the directors.

On the contrary City sold their brightest talent to us for 45m. Who is also a triumph to the directors.

I don't understand why people keep using Palmer as our director triumph. It is like praising people for hitting jackpot in a lottery.

Jackson is imo our director triumph.

Look on the bright side: Roger Cook called out J.D. Vance for what he is. (Even if he later, um, apologised)

Too many fans look at Palmer as triumph. Getting a debutant playing like a superstar is impossible.

Now getting a really raw player who play other position (winger in Jackson case) and using data/scout whatever to see that he can be successful in other position especially in our case st in PL is a big triumph.

Getting a 22 year old ST in PL for 30m who can run behind and come short is crazy bargain. (Of course 30m is too expensive if you believe city paid only 60m for Haaland)

Yup.

Myself, and others, have mentioned this. So have Johnny Minerals and Younes talks football.

500 mill from aeris management at an interest rate of 12.96%, due to be repaid in 2033 when it will be worth closer to 1.5bill

702mill from a consortium of US banks, due to be repaid in a few years at a rate of 8%.

But hey at least we have a new stadium....err....a world class....err.

Several trophies....err.

Remember When some of us stated our fears this lot were going to be worse than the glazers? And many on here laughed us to scorn?

United debit with glazers not yet 900mill after how many years? Yet Blue Co have almost doubled that in just 3 years?

That Aeris debt will be worth more than all the glazers have put on United on its own!

Is there any evidence this is actually true?

The 702m is documented in the BlueCo accounts, but I think the other figure is pulled from someone's arse.

Honestly can't work these owners out. Why are they here ? What do they actually want ?

If it was profit, you surely wouldn't pay £2.3 billion (and with a promise to spend £1.75 billion on top of that) for an asset that the previous guy paid £140m for only 19 years earlier, especially when you immediately replace most of the behind-the-scenes infrastructure and playing staff that he had built (basically saying that it was valueless), and sign £800m worth of replacement players for £1.2 billion, and pay them huge multiples of their wages at previous clubs. Nor would you forego £80m of shirt sponsorship, and pay out yet more millions in compensation for your poor manager/coach hiring and firing decisions.

If was sporting excellence, you wouldn't hire two average scouts to oversee your footballing operations as "pseudo" sporting directors, and then let them sign the likes of Potter and Maresca to run the team (I'll give Poch a pass as he did at least have significant top club pedigree), and sign a load of mainly kids with potential for exorbitant fees, while simultaneously demonstrating that you have zero idea how to compile a balanced elite level squad.

So what is it ?

(1) A speculative bet on the PL market and club valuations doubling in 10 years regardless of how the club is run ?

(2) A real estate grab for Stamford Bridge ?

(3) A desire to completely destroy Roman's legacy at the club ? (H-J Wyss must be creaming himself at how this is going LOL)

None of it makes much sense as things stand.

Another teenager ? How many years are we going to have to listen to the excuse that we've got a "young inexperienced team" as the reason for failures ?

Im not adverse to singing talent. All clubs do it at all levels. However,

The scattergun approach to transfers leaves me cold. Its put us in debt, we have two Latin players arriving this summer? who is departing to facilitate their arrival into the squad. Does Maresca have a say over who comes or goes?

This signing cannot be a Maresca hire because he wont be here when the guy turns up.

It's a scout signing? who knows.

It is a signing to stop rivals getting him? no idea we've done it again. Signed another player who isnt going to play for us...

It simply makes no sense to make a move for him. It makes little sense to sign a player for 18 months time, and we have players all over the place who are going to be back in Cobham for Pre season... and we'll probably have to force more players out of the club this summer to pay for it.

We're struggling to get rid of players on our books.

Good Idea, singing talent ! Who needs a forward line when we could have a chorus line instead !😂

Is this what we're doing now? Calling transfers 'stripping the club of money'? I don't think 'stripping the club of money deadline day' will catch on.

Not to mention we're also effectively blocking any chance for players to break through from our world class academy. "You may be young, talented, and have been with us since you were 7, but we've spent £40m on another teenager so we're actually just going to have to sell you to cover that cost"

I just think we sell pure profit to max out the credit card. No idea what happens to the monies outstanding. Does it sit in a bank or is it paid each year? Is a lump sum paid?

I just think these guys are asset striping the club

So a question for both those behind this ownership, whether they believe in them or think at least they are not like certain other owners, and those against them.

If The ownership truly believe in this model to produce an exciting, winning team, as has been put forward , why is the same model not applied to the women's team?

Emma Hayes will beat the living sh*t out of all of them if they destroy her legacy.
