Just caught a news program today although only half-listening, ear pricked up when he said rumour is Saudi interests in football considering pulling out as returns are not big enough.

Says to expect movement during world cup when attention is diverted.

Joked that clubs might have to look for sponsors like the Milk Board again.

Saudis are reconsidering their involvement in many sports. They have spunked in excess of $4bn (yes, billion) on LIV, their breakaway golf venture, and suggestions are funding will be withdrawn at the end of the year. They're also selling at least one of their football teams. In short, they are going to focus on investments with returns.

I'd love to know who Clearlake think they are going to sell the club to at the appointed time LOL.

I don't think there is anyone on the planet who will pay the inflated price they are likely to want ... particularly now that the Saudis appear to have woken up to the folly of their sports largesse ...

Most premier League football clubs would actually turn over a very tidy profit if it wasnt for sill wages and missmanagement.

We are being supremely badly managed by the board and are losing money every year. It is unsustainable simply becasue we will run out of china to sell.

I think the club has become a vehicle for funnelling cartel cash/ pay off gambling debts (see Brighton) or wash dirty money through other clubs and transfers, the loss of our club will do what Euroloans never did because of Roman.

We need this lot gone before we hit receivership and tumbl down the leagues, which, i htink I'd probably prefer than keep the scum owners.

PR has started that any of our "top" players sold will be for sporting reasons not money ones.

Even Bloomberg are reporting the mess we are in, and how Clearlakes investors are concerned about issues in the company and that Eghbali and Feliciano are spending too much time on sports and not on generating returns for other investments.

Pressure is starting to work. Hopefully it is ramped up. Maybe if Palmer, Estevao and James get sold more of the fanbase will see the only way we survive is BlueCo out.

With the losses we are making still possible Ares management takes control of us and Strasbourg as they did Lyon.

This part is very interesting.

I think fans should use the name Clearlake in protests and chants more often than BlueCo.

Clearlake investors might start wondering why people in London are chanting against their firm and think that this is not worth the trouble. Hopefully putting enough pressure on Eghbali to either go or at least to shape up and sort this mess.

The only thing these clowns respond to is losing money THATS IT!

Nothing else works no protest will ever get these clowns to change.

Stop going to matches stop buying merchandise that’s the only thing they will understand

This is the point isn't it. This is the abyss approaching rapidly. All well and good us all calling for BlueCo out but without the Saudis where is any investment coming from? At the rate these bozos are losing money if they can't find somebody to sell to, we could be heading towards a complete collapse of the club.

Im absoultely loving the Spurs relegation battle and prefer watching that to watching chelsea play. It's liberating cheering for teams that dig deep to fight for a result. We should be watching what happens there because that could be us next season. Trouble with Spurs predicament, its not about the first team, or the manager, theyve signed top talent (we were after so perhaps not top talent after all and I think frank is a better manager, and theyve also had JM and Conte fail to turn the club around) the club is rotten top down and I think this is pretty much where we find ourselves ahead of an FA cup semi.

They are also in the process of scuttling Lyon and Botafogo. If Ares took control I suspect that they will break the club apart and sell it off piecemeal.

Watching the Spurs and West Ham games is the most enjoyment I got out of football in a long while. Like you said teams digging in and giving their all.

If Spurs survive the drop it's guaranteed they finish above us next season.

Understandable under the current circumstances. The instability in the world right now means that they need to be safe in their investments. They always knew football was not going to give them money, they invested to ingratiate with the Western world, not to make money.

Such a blatant pyramid scheme. Hate every single one of them.

We're in good hands with a robust coaching staff, experienced at the highest level and all have paid their dues.....

Oh I can't keep this up!

i think we will fail again & and we probably deserve to. Senior management (Finklestein & Co.) appear to have convinced Eghbali that team management is not important re results hey ho. ☹️

The revised thinking predates the current circumstances.

Fair enough, I read your post as if they were decisions made recently.

I think City have had the fortune of Pep Guardiola, the same at Liverpool with Klopp. When you've had a coach like that at the helm for so long, it helps massively. Wasn't we interested in Pep under Roman? But I read that Pep didn't want to come to Chelsea because of Roman's hiring and firing strategy, and that led to Pep being uncertain he would get the necessary time needed. This isn't a modern problem with ownership, it's happened at this club under Roman as well. It just happens that Roman didn't have the financial shackles that we have now so he could splurge a lot more on top players and coaches. The stadium issue has been an issue for 20+ years, but it was never resolved. This club haven't been competitive at the top domestically for 10+ seasons. We've been on a effing merry go round for years, it's frustrating.

It's true that Roman didn't have any shackles on spending. But this lot have got round those shackles and spent record amounts within a short time. And f**ked everything up in the process.

"Chelsea's squad at the end of the 2024 financial year was the most expensive ever assembled in Europe in terms of transfer fees, according to a report released by governing body UEFA.

The "European Club Finance and Investment Landscape" report said Chelsea spent 1.656 billion euros ($1.79 billion) on combined transfer costs.

We are going to get flooded with PR bullsh*t but It seems journalists are finally starting to do a job a focus of the five sporting directors.

Fans needs to focus on them not on the players f**k the players for now it’s these five c**ts that need to be sacked.

Ironically though, most of the sales WOULD actually be for Sporting reasons, whether that is the genuine intent or not from Blueco, including Enzo.

The Kinetic pyramid scheme mess is almost unfixable, the rot goes deep now, and we’ve either f**ked off genuine coaches with actual credentials for their ‘mates’, and burned those bridges. It’s literally going down to a few, like Billy MCulloch the masseur and that bald guy who deals with corporate affairs, forgot his name.

Have they sorted out which clubs and agents that have profited from out SDs purchases?
