There’s no need for it with the sale clearly in the final stages. Sanction Roman but not the club. We’ve lost an assets worth £40-60m because of this. If you include potential transfer targets as we, the figure could be very large. What’s worse is as fans, we’ve just sat back and accepted it. No protests or anything. Shameful. Can see that in the stands past few home games. Almost a feeling that we deserve it. Least that is how it seems on the box.
April 25, 20224 yr Via Sky Sports, one group has committed to owning the club for decades: " Of the remaining bidders, the consortium headed by Boston Celtics part-owner Steve Pagliuca and Larry Tanenbaum, the NBA chairman and Toronto Maple Leafs owner, has publicly committed to "lifetime ownership" of Chelsea. Between them, the two men would have outright control of the club, with Tanenbaum telling Sky News last week: "My goal, and that of Steve, would be to own Chelsea for decades to come.""
April 25, 20224 yr Also mentioned about the Bohley bid that Clearlake will actually own a majority 66% of the club. No doubt they would look to sell as soon as it is profitable to do so, and where would that leave us?
April 25, 20224 yr I have read Roman only got Raine to add the 10 year commitment in the last few days and that he keeps moving the goalposts of the deal. I have no doubt he is looking after our best interests in his heart. Hopefully in the medium and long term it works out well. Though I think we need to lower our expectations for next season. Main thing for me is the integration of Broja, Gallagher and Colwill in to the first team squad. And Lukaku leaving.

Tbh im starting to think its all a ploy, Obviously its a shark tank and I wonder if RA is actually trying to get someone to hold the club for him or some shiz and when it all blows over he does an elon musk and starts buying it all back from his mates etc, Could it be that some of the remaining bidders are just trying to snatch what some seem to see as a Russian asset?!

Whilst the offers are being assessed by Raine the broad criteria will almost certainly been set by RA. I think far too much overthinking is going on here in terms of the UK government’s input quite simply because their involvement will be no more that to change the license to enable the sale of shares . The fit and proper person’s paperwork will be reviewed and signed off by the PL the UK government won’t want to be anywhere near the sign off Never too much overthinking when it comes to our gov Like others have stated they're actively harming the club under the guise of 'russian man bad' They are amazing at scamming us all and have buildings of civi's playing jedi mind tricks to get away with all sorts! Banning russian tennis players because they're Russian sums it all up, They have ex SAS involved with security so its obvious what's really going on chaps

I think the problem is, to run the club in a ‘normal’ state with ring fenced accounts could possibly have placed us into administration and incur a 12 point deduction. The football fraternity,be it fans or other owners have no love of Roman through his wealth. Which leaves us alone, protest and general population (who have no love of football ) and media paint us in a poor light in comparison to what has happened to Ukraine. Roman appears to be doing right by us, our beef is with Putin. Should we be protesting against him and the war? Probably We’ve undoubtedly drawn the short straw in this debacle, ultimately though for us stability and the future of the club are paramount as opposed to short term gain and hopefully peace in Ukraine and the rest of Europe.
April 25, 20224 yr Interview with Lewis Hamilton. https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/11095/12595693/chelsea-takeover-lewis-hamilton-confirms-hes-joined-consortium-to-buy-london-club-as-he-explains-greatest-opportunity Is Sir Martins bid about to win with their government connections and newly found star power? TT had positive things to say about Hamilton and Williams too.

Nope not a Civil Servant just someone that reads past the banner headline. Far too many have and to a degree still are fighting against the inevitable all that will come from that is they will become more and more bitter when the reality is had the Salisbury incident not happened and then the invasion of Ukraine HM Government would not have taken the actions they have.

Any allegiance or past supporting of Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, United, Liverpool etc. etc. should be heavily scrutinized and reviewed. This last announcement of Hamilton and Serena wanting to be a part of the winning consortium -- idk, man -- it just rubs me the wrong way.

Salisbury was bad but think about how bad our security is for that to happen, KGB agents just casually flying in and back out and nobody even noticed hahaa, What you expect when you have hundreds of double agents all over the uk to use against Russia and all the other spys from other places etc End of the day they are banning Russians because they're russian Violence is ok when they say it is and discrimination is fine but only when they say it is etc etc etc Facebook allowing the vile hatred and discrimination against Russians was also one for the notepad of life We aiint the good guys and they aiint the bad guys and our gov have already cost us our best defender! Oh yeah because roman would syphon ticket sales money to spend on what? 1 night on his cruise ship?! It stinks lol Dont forget it was a nazi that made nasa what it was, And the russians are the OG'S of space, Its a crying shame whats happened since ww2 Edited April 25, 20224 yr by Kantesmini

April 25, 20224 yr Elon Musk just bought Twitter for 44bn. Our club would be short change for him, we could've sent Lukaku to Space!

April 25, 20224 yr On Canners I wonder he digs out Hamilton and Williams for supporting other teams but ignores Goldstien in his preferred bidder is a larger partner and a rabid Spurs fan?
