Lewis Hamilton is one of my all time favourite sporting figures so it makes me smile to see him being interested.

Interested really for the wrong reasons. He did not say in the interview he personally loves Chelsea (which is a duh moment because he's an Arsenal fan) and wants to get Chelsea back on top.

He's only there it seems to help with the side campaigns that we as fans shouldn't give a s*** about especially when there's chaos on the pitch.

I see Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams have now joined Sir Martin's bid.  It seems to change by the day in terms of who is getting involved.  I thought Hamilton was a Gooner.

He is and i don't want him anywhere near our club, he's got a really bad attitude and the baggage he will bring will  be a major distraction. His politics will be a major downer. Keep out.

Seems our players have been sanctioned. What a set of w**kers EA are. Bet Putin is quaking in his boots and will now withdraw his forces. The club should retaliate and ask for their name  to be taken out of the game.

Most hated club in the world mate.

EA Sports FIFA are a good example of much that is wrong with the game.

It is all about image. The whole Putin/Roman saga is putting every brand on their toes. Better safe than sorry. EA is positioning them in this case if that is the reason Rudiger for example is not among the players.

Mason mount not being amongst that shows just what a farce it is.

Bruno Fernandes in there is insane, he's sh*t in general play even when he's stat padding penalties.

That said Gallagher will be perfect for my team next to Xavi if he's selected so fingers crossed.

Edit: haha just as I say that he's goes and misses one.

It's making me sick, every day there is a new backer in one of the groups, what with the crap we watched last night its all just making the club a laughing stock,it's bloody pathetic and needs to end soon.

Indeed, plus you have to worry there's going to be a lack of ownership accountability with so many cooks owning such small percentages of the broth.

Honestly reached the point of not caring who takes over now. Rudiger leaving has soured an already bitter season and I just want the takeover tow wrap up so we can get back to business because our team really needs major rebuilding in the summer. No just on the pitch, but behind closed doors and with sponsorships etc.

Makes sense. The estimated cost of redevelopment of the Bridge is around 2bill on its own and apparently would be much cheaper if we moved to a new stadium. However part of Roman's demands is a binding commitment to develop the bridge.

I can see Clearlake and whoever is backing Sir Martin looking at it and thinking 2.5bill to buy, 2bill for stadium and 1bill commitment down, how do we make money on that?

Could well be the hedge funds see that and withdraw like Griffin did from the Ricketts bid as he saw no way to make money.

However they can talk about dropping their final bids but I don't think the government will allow it to go too low. They made it clear very early they want what Roman promised, that large sum to go to the war victims. If it suddenly drops from 3bill to 500mill I expect them to refuse to issue the sale license and say no. They have shown they dont care the effect this has on the club and our fans, and I doubt they care what Roman wants even less.

I expect of they don't get what they want they will wait till the season is over and just take the club from Roman, sell us to the highest bidder with no commitments, probably to a Woody J, so they can hand over a cool 3bill and look like heros.

Meanwhile we get run in to the ground.

I think expansion is the answer, Rebuild each of the stands with added capacity, full re-do too expensive and tricky..

Honestly we are going by emotion here. Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham had to leave their grounds rather than rebuild them because it made the most financial sense.

Logically it is best for the club to build a new stadium elsewhere. We all know that, but we dont want to leave the bridge. We want to be different and be able to hold on to that history and identity.

We may have to accept in so doing to causes a huge financial drain on the club.
