TT predicted this would happen. Now no Ben or Reece for our CL defence, club world cup or league and FA cup runs.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we should have just played the under 23s against Everton onwards are rested the first team. Now our season is a write off.

Or Tuchel should have paid more for Hakimi instead of just giving up as soon as PSG entered that chat. He knew that full-backs are the most important piece of his tactic and he took a gamble and now the season is gone.

I mean it looked like he gave up and went all in for Haaland in order to compensate for losing a top quality full-back. Or maybe I forgot the order of things but from what I remember it was too much to raise the bid for Hakimi and then suddenly we're in it for Haaland and eventually Lukaku for 100m.

Come on Gol you are smarter than that. Roman and Marina decide on signings, not the manager. He has input but not the final sat. And no way a Manger says "oh no don't spend that on Hakimi he is not worth it"

I just wish that we signed him but it wasn't meant to be... Now he's stuck forever in PSG prison, the Saudis don't let anyone leave till they're done with them.

No one put a gun to his head and make him sign. He happily took the money. 

Would he have been a top signing? Yes for sure. The club backed TT with Lukaku, Saul though has become clearly a club signing and now we need to back TT or he will be gone before the season is out.

City would have had no issue spending 250 mill on Kane and Grealish had Spurs said yes. 

Now we need to back TT with big cash.

Tchouameni for 60mill.

We are set to lose Dave, AC and Toni. We need to rebuild and if we want to remain at the top we need to do it with top quality and not cheap out with Drinkwaters, Bakas and Batmans.

Imagine signing 3 bang average players for 200m. No way we're going to do that...

We really need cover for RWB either way. If Reece is really out 2 months this just makes the need much more urgent. Azpi used to be an option but he hasn't got the legs for that position any more.

Well I would prefer we spend it on 3 players who can be key players for our long term future too, rather than more Bakas and Batmans.

I am guessing you dont rate Hernadez, Kounde and Tchouameni then? Who would you suggest?

I would have Lamptey as that new right back. 

Its become pretty clear the club didnt do enough in the summer. I think TT just needs to keep his cool, and a top 3 finish, with no civil war, should be enough to see him get another summer window.

If we need reinforcements at those three positions, then I would suggest this. But I'm not sure whether we need a midfielder.
