I would be surprised if France don't call up Kante even though he is isolating with Covid.

Why should England be less stupid? 

Sadly he seems to be an injury prone player. Hope it doesn't get as bad as it was with RLC. 

Every time he goes down I'm afraid he won't get back up again.

The Premier League's best right wing back is back training. Thankfully looks like he should be back in contention for selection. 

 

 

Early sample size but based on his two penalties in the respective EFL cup shootouts I wonder if he may end up climbing the pecking order for the spot kicks in regulation play? Possibly even taking over from Jorgi when the time comes.

I absolutely love Reece James as a player. He's absolutely superb! Best right-back/right wing-back in the world.

Early days but I think he will be the biggest benefactor to the change in his Tuchel is using the wingbacks. I was pretty vocal over how I feel he was wasted as a pure wide wingback but allowing him to drift inside plays to his strengths a lot more.

4 goals, 3 assists so far. Really enjoying watching him this season.

Blossoming into a great RWB. 

He's just not cutting it for me.  Trent Alexander Darling Arnold already has 3 assists in 8 games this season.  Reece only has 4 goals in 7 games, plus 2 assists.

There is enough football to go around, but surely this is the passing of the RWB torch from Dave to Reece.

Great numbers so far and compensates for the general lack of goals and assists provided by our midfield. 

I really do like James as a player and it's crazy to think that with age on his side he can still get better.

Missed games through injury but is still the best right back/wing back in the league.

Completely agree.  I'm a big Livramento fan also and hope to see him return to Chelsea one day, but goodness has the academy helped some talent flourish in recent years.  James is up there with the best of them.

Left and right foot finishes, the rarest of rare commodities, someone who can shoot with both feet, something Declan Rice can do as  well

Did we see the same for James when he scored and assisted against Arsenal or scored 2 against Newcastle?

Trent is more than welcome to be England's first choice right back. Less games for England means Reece is more likely to stay injury free and match fit for Chelsea.
