Well it's a blow, no two ways about it. We have seen how much difference him and Chilwell missing have made to us.

a difference between being in a title race or not

Chilwell will need time next season to get back to form. With Reece proving fairly injury prone I think it’s essential we get another top wb in this summer to balance the squad out

With what funds? Our benefactor’s asset has just been frozen.. lol

We just have to activate Livramento’s buy back clause.

ha well yeah, my comment didn't age well! The situation hasn't necessarily changed on the transfer front. nothing was going to happen until we were sold. the problem is, I'm not convinced Roman will simply allow his club to be sold by the gvt

He’s been called up to the England squad despite still being injured and Tuchel saying he needs at least another week to recover. If only he played for the media darlings, his actual injury might be taken as seriously as a certain rival players made up one.

Bit silly really from Roberto Southgatez considering our wealth of options at right-back.

The three clear frontrunners (Walker, James, Alexander-Arnold) all happening to be unavailable at the same time could have been an opportunity to give players like Livramento, Lamptey, Justin and Walker-Peters a go without bruising any egos.

There’s even Wan-Bissaka who could be given a chance. Nope let’s call up the one legged bloke from Chelsea who’s barely played since coming back from a bigger injury. I hope the club withdraw him.

He did brilliantly to avoid that 2nd yellow card tonight. He could have played it safe, but he focused his game and was smart with his tackles. That cross for Havertz in extra time was world class. He's one of the best in the world at it, I just want to see him doing it game after game again.

Honestly got a lot of love for James at RCB. Very much a big part of the reason why we dominated Real Madrid in my opinion. The way we play someone like Reece will be highly involved in our attack from RCB too, as he was yesterday.

It was from that position he elevated himself to star prospect (him there and Lamptey/Sterling at wingback).

I'm disappointed we didn't do more to convince Livramento to sign (a mistake we hopefully rectify soon) as the partnership between both on the right in a 3atb has serious potential.

The decision to play him on that position worked for us perfectly. As a RCB, he was useful in attack and covered nicely in defense.

He's a real baller and deserved to get a win yesterday, but it's behind us and time to focus on our future.

Keep it going Reece!

The tackle in the box was extraordinary, I honestly thought he had given a penalty away but to get his foot in on that was something else. Apparently Benzema chased him for a shirt swap after the game, that tells you how well he did.

Something special this lad, so badly missed this season him and Ben. I think if these two stay fit and regain their level from last season everything falls into place. Aside from a fit Kanté and on form Mount and Havertz, Ben and Reece are the most important players in TT squad.

They do everything, our attack is better when they play, our midfield is better when they play and our defence returns to imperious.

Real tapping up again?
