September 25, 20196 yr I'm happy with that first half. It's our B string and they're doing just fine.
September 25, 20196 yr Really impressed with Gilmour. Disappointed that Pulisic has been a shadow. Quite a good game this has been!

September 25, 20196 yr Pedro is good at finishing but no brain for the pass or run. Batshuayi had done brilliant with a run and great ball at the end of the first half and Pedro is just floating about next to defenders. CHO grew into the game as it went on. Reece James looks as comfortable as a seasoned pro. A few bright sparks by Pulisic but not doing enough to warrant starting in the league. Still stand by my point that Batshuayi is the best finisher in this team, overall play looks good too. Deserves to be above Giroud in the pecking order. Zouma's long floated balls out to CHO are pointless, gives the defender so much time to recover and make an easy header.

September 25, 20196 yr Don't think Zouma has seen this much of the ball in a match ever. He looks gassed.

September 25, 20196 yr Further to the above, Gilmour looks like a good little player. A little lightweight but that'll improve with age and experience. Outshining Ross atm. Outside of that first goal, some of Ross' decision making has been poor on the ball.
September 25, 20196 yr It was a really stop start stream so gave up, Pulisic looked ok to me, making runs but wasn't being used on the bits I saw.
September 25, 20196 yr I’m going to just be totally honest here and say that I don’t actually like Hudson-Odoi and it’s all down to his contract, I’m watching him now and expecting him to do something every time he gets the ball and even the things he does well like them two little backheel passes I just think “ego”. Really gone off him and I can’t help think he’s overrated. One player who i was really ally looking forward to though was Reece James and unpopular opinion again but I am completely underwhelmed so far, he has just won an award for being the best in his position in the championship and he’s playing pretty poorly against a team two leagues below that standard. I dont know maybe it’s the the tomori mount and Abraham effect making me expect way to much but when you see a youngster dominate salah and one score a hat trick in a away league game it’s hard to find excuses for CHO and James being average against a lower league 2 team injuries or not.
September 25, 20196 yr Not a bad half but I would have expected more chances with that line-up. The two wide men CHO and Pulisic both look rusty, neither quite ready for the first 11 yet.
September 25, 20196 yr Just now, forbzy said: How has Guehi looked so far? Not had much to do tbh, good burst forward at the start. Gave a freekick away but that was more the Gramsby striker being clever and hitting the deck when he felt contact.

I think the only thing that needs a bit of a boost is his strength, because he looks like he can be bullied at the moment. I'm sure it will happen naturally though as he gets older. I remember Loftus-Cheek being quite slim at one point and then the next time I seen him he was massive.

I have similar fears re CHO yet in the glimpses I saw James looked good.
