If we're doing well bring Gilmour in for one of Jorginho/Kante.

Pedro on for CHO at 60 minutes and Azpi in for James around the same time.

Giroud up top to add a bit of experience, seems to thrive in cup games too.

Rest of the backline pretty much chooses itself with injuries.

Wouldn't risk any first team starters, especially not Kante, Timori, Mount etc. We just need to win this game and get the home page hoodo out of the way, the likes of Pullisic, Giroud, Barkley, Pedro should get it done.

Going to the game, looking forward to seeing Callum and Reece getting a solid run out. Would like to see Batshuayi get a start as well, think he's looked good when he's come in the last few matches. Hopefully a comfortable first home win under Frank.....

First of all i hope we utilize our whole squad. We can complain of our injuries but the truth is we have been the reason for them.

1. Rushing back Rudiger

2. Rushing back Emerson

3 . Rushing back Kante.

WE have to wrap alonso in cotton wool with emerson out for a month

                Caballero

James  Zouma  Guehi   Matseen

        Gilmour   Kovacic

Odoi      Barkley       Pulisic

             Batshuayi..

The spurs result shows the folly of assuming you are going to win just by turning up. Also the young guys need to be supported by a core of the main team.

This - 100% this. We can't (and under Lamps I don't think we will) go into this thinking that the game has already been won. As ozboy said, a mixture of youth and a few senior players should hopefully do the trick! We're still chasing our first home win under Lamps and I think that'll be playing on his mind. Go out there tonight with a killer instinct and get the job done by half-time, then we can rest some of the key players... If they have been selected of course.

Beautiful thing is if we crash out we don't have to play these fixtures any more this season.

I would field a youthful ja side with Barkley, Caballero, Pulisic, Giroud/Bats. We have too much quality in our side to beat them. And most importantly we have 5-6 guys who want to prove themselves.

Spurs haven't renewed and it shows. We have only renewed and in a fixture like this it will be a positive thing.

I just want to see how CHO, James and Gilmour play. Very very interesting.
The domestic cups are our only hope of winning something this season, so no room for complacency or "less fixture congestion". All guns blazing tonight, please lads!
I think we should evolve as a team opposed to win this cup. However winning is usually a good recipe to tighten up the squad and hone the system. CL this season will toll us in a big way.

Liam Twomey of The Athletic says he's been told Guehi and Gilmour will start, and Anjorin & Maatsen will be on the bench.
