One player who i was really ally looking forward to though was Reece James and unpopular opinion again but I am completely underwhelmed so far, he has just won an award for being the best in his position in the championship and he’s playing pretty poorly against a team two leagues below that standard. 

 

I dont know maybe it’s the the tomori mount and Abraham effect making me expect way to much but when you see a youngster dominate salah and one score a hat trick in a away league game it’s hard to find excuses for CHO and James being average against a lower league 2 team injuries or not.

Billy completely bossed the midfield today, a deserved MOTM performance without a shadow of a doubt.

I enjoyed that. It's nice to get a break from the tense stuff.

I agree. People will look at Reece James 2 assists and goal and say he deserved it, but I thought that Gilmour controlled the game.

Excellent performance. Didn't face a good side but they fought and these games aren't always easy. United are drawing Rochdale at home in the 80th minute currently.

Gilmour the real standout for me but encouraging performances from all the youth really. James a little shaky defensively at times i thought but i put that down to match-fitness and very happy CHO got his goal in the end. 

I didn't see much of a mention of Anjorin, I thought he was another youngster that looked really good when he came on. He was very lively and looked really dangerous going forward.

This is why this inevitable up and down season doesn't faze me at all. We are set up for the future, so many good young players. 

No one in the league has this calibre of player coming through.

Well that was fun. The youngsters look so good. Gilmour, CHO, James. What players. The two subs looked excellent. Good times.

 Agreed. Gilmore came on really strong especially when there was more youth playing
