Tah and Araujo (Barca version) might be realistic targets, seeing as Tau is available as a free in the summer, and Barcelona, as is their habit, have severe financial problems and probably need to sell someone (Kounde, Raphinha might still interest us as well).

Knowing us though, we'll go for the other (22 year old) Araujo (Tomas) at Benfica and leave Juve a free run at the prime Araujo (Ronald) !

True, but James is not reliably fit to play though, plus I think Josh looks much better than Gusto currently, even though he has only had a handful of minutes.

The Athletic are reporting that there has been contact and, if we are willing to wave the 20% sell on clause, then Palace would be open to offers starting at 40mill

Guehi  is a decent player who fits the way we play. We are already a team who struggles with size and physicality though, so if we sign a starting CB I’d prefer one who alleviates some of those issues - and Guehi isn’t it

Yeah is a shame we did not pick up the 2 CBS Forest have before they got them. Good pairing, strong.

Murillo had about as much experience when they signed him as Anselmino does now. Lets hope he acclimatises to the league just as well. 

Any news yet? Given our lack of any recognised centre-forward, I'm praying the kid is OK and is fit to play. The moment he ran, jumped and challenged for a cross into the box, my heart leapt for joy. And again when he charged across the pitch and smashed the Wet Spam defender off the ball. A huge improvement on our usual converted left winger cum centre-forward.

You're getting your Guehis mixed up with your Guius.

Liked twice so you're not on your own. 

How did he play? Didn't watch much of the game as had more interesting things to do like build flat pack furniture.

Moves like a centre-forward. Competes for aerial balls. Doesn't stand still in the box. Closes down. Lets defenders know he is there.

Still as Green as grass and at his age will continue to bulk up physically, but has to start ahead of Jackson.

Only way he'll learn is by giving him minutes. Was hard to argue him starting when Jackson was scoring but now that's dried up i'd rather have a busy striker making a nuisence of himself up top for a bit. Even just for chaos.
