In fact in the first 20 mins was very fast and physical and could not see us living with that though would expect us to go five at the back.

that was a grim watch - both those teams looked knackered and a bit crap imho

Arsenal can't keep missing these chances unfortunately, Villa failing to stay tight so they always seem to get the shot off.

Barkley and Grealish's partnership is really enjoyable to watch. I didn't really rate Grealish much last season, I thought he was too much of a show pony and would rather dive than play effective football, but he's a different player this season.

So next season, sell Kovacic and Jorginho and bring back Barkley + Rice ?

If Barkley plays this way for a full season, then we should be looking to keep him at the club. There is a place for him in the squad if he can play this well consistently.

Barkley has been excellent for Villa.
