Negotiators are working hard behind the scenes to put something together that works for both parties to take Saul Niguez to #Chelsea. The deal 'might be a late one but it could happen'.

Is what I am hearing too. TT priority is midfielder ahead of a defender.

Besides what is there to work on with Kounde. Pay the clause and get him, don't and don't. Very simply.

Specifically for this coming season I would prioritise the midfield signing over the defender. We've already seen Jorginho and Ngolo take a knock and we're only 3 games into the season. I think depth wise defence is much more stacked. Ideally we get Kounde and Saul, I suppose we wait and see. This club has always loved deadline day signings 😅

NIGUEZ KEEN TO MOVE TO CHELSEA

The agents of Saul Niguez are working hard to complete a deal today for the Atletico Madrid midfielder to move on loan to Chelsea.

They will not give up until the last minute of the transfer window.

The player is keen to move to Chelsea. He is currently in Madrid and does not need to fly to London to complete the deal.

What I don't understand is earlier when the deal looked all but done a few days ago Athleti apparently didn't need a replacement and now they suddenly do. I thought they had 4 other CM and Saul was going to struggle to get game time and that was the reason he was being moved on.

It's all ego, they knew they can't afford to keep Saul but they still need to posture. 

Same with us and Kounde. Someone has to and will budge, it's just a staring contest at this point

She posted about Saul a few days ago and it fell through, so you never know but I would have thought there is a good chance with her posting again.

Your right because I was pissed when she posted a few days ago and it fell through,but I'm surprised she has again if there isn't a very good chance of it happening  or she would look an even bigger fool.

Can someone follow A.Madrid regularly shed me some lights on Saul? How good is he? If he’s that good why AM are willing to let him go? How’s his current health situation especially the kidney injury? Thanks. 

So we are only looking at a loannee rather than a permanent. I'm not sure that this window is really how TT would have wanted this to develop. It also shows that having looked at all of our extended squad TT only really fancies Chalobah. Everyone else he is looking to shift out. I doubt that RLC and Barkley are really in his thoughts as well.

its very obviously a fan account.  I doubt she'd have a public facebook account and be posting players on there with quotes like "I'd very much like Saul at Chelsea" and has a pic of our Spanish players as if to tempt him

Romano's seemingly confirmed it happening for 5 million loan fee.

Its a done deal apparently he'll sign with an option to buy....
