This has been pathetic from Villarreal. Just one shot off target with eight minutes to go. In danger of being remembered as one of the worst sides to reach the last four of the cl.

They are a Europa league level side there because they won the Europa league.

They beat a Bayern side woefully mismanaged and a Juventus side we showed were garbage at the bridge.

They came waving the white flag, happy to just be there and they just did not want to get hammered.

As the sky commentator just said Villareal are quite content to lose 2-0.

And they are, they came knowing they had no hope of advancing to the final. They just did not want to be humiliated in the scoreline.

But they have been humiliated by the way way they just surrendered.

How did they var check that so fast? It normally takes ages

It's handled differently (and better) in the Champions League. Usually they will let a goal stand if there is like a cm in it and they aren't obsessed with this armpit / sleeve sh*t that we see in the Premier League.

Refs in England are obsessed with hyper analysing everything. When offsides are that tight, just leave it alone and go with the decision of the linesman.

I don't think I have ever seen a set of fans more boring than City's. They are in a Champions League semi final and this is how they celebrated their first goal.

The majority of them are barely moving. Some are recording it on their phones, others are giving a light applause.

This never happened to us under Roman, not even PSG fans are this bad. City's fanbase is souless.

How many red cards has Liverpool gotten this season? I have no idea, but I have a sneaky suspicion it’s zero. They should have at least two in the matches against us.  With the refs in their pocket, it’s hard to defeat those bastards.

It’s going to be a City v Liverpool final…urgh

Remember how UEFA dealt with it the last time they were faced with two successive all-English finals?
