Used to be a Welsh bloke who drank in my local years ago really nice fella but not very bright his nickname was eclipse. Everytime I hear John Hartson speak I think of him in a world of terrible co-commentators step forward Dixon, Jenas, Murphy etc Hartson is the undisputed champion.

Think he should do well with Gnabry & Musiala behind him, & Gundogan picking him out from deep. Musiala is the one I am more excited to watch, only 19 & already notched 9 goals & 6 assists in 14 league games this season. If Germany are to go far, he will be a key player. Still can’t wrap my head around how no one spotted his talent when he was in our youth team, and he walks straight into the Bayern team.

Much as I would love the CanMNT to reach the levels of the women's side, it has been quite the achievement already just reaching the World Cup after so many years missing out. They do have a very good coach imo, hopefully he has a few tricks up his sleeve. Belgium is an ugly welcome back to the big time.

I don't think this is one we can blamed for, as soon as he picked Germany he was always going to go to Bayern.

Neuer palmed away the ball to the feet of Doan, who equalised. It's uplifting to see Mendy is not the only one  The Germany box was a bit more crowded than the Senegal box though, so Neuer was probably cursed whichever way he would have chosen.
