We were top of the group qualification on merit based on a strong defence and a really solid goalkeeper. Very few of the wins were by kore than 1 or 2 goals. That was done mostly without the injured Davies, the top player. Larin and David are better than they showed today, the occasion got the better of them.

2 world cups in the country's history, no goals scored, that is a lot of pressure.

It's ironic Havertz is playing in the wrong position for both Country and club. He's completely lost out there. Having said that, not sure what's the best position for him, No 10 or LWB? Got give it to Japan, totally deserved it, without VAR interference.

His best position by far is playing on a single CF who can stretch the opposition with strength and pace, a Drogba type of forward, and having a combination of 8 defenders and midfielders doing the work behind him so he is free from the defensive side of the game.

So today's early world cup game involves Chelsea legend* Denis Zakarias 🇨🇭 . 

Question is if he scores a screamer will @Munkworthget a Switzerland national shirt with Zakaria on the back?

KDB was voted the official MoM. He was very honest in an interview after the match and suggested the award was just made on basis of name only.

TIBO for me was MOTM yet thought Hazard did well the only Belgian able to hold on to the ball in the first half.

Strange to see KDB get the award, he did run well on the ball yet thought his shots and passes were slightly off.

Hazard is still not right yet looks better than his last tournament.

Commentary team shouldn't have any trouble with South Korea's back line.

So has been watching us this season for almost every game.

I'm actually enjoying it so far, Asia presenting more of a challenge and Africa yet to make a mark though maybe Ghana will against Ronaldo and Portugal.

Portugal with Ronaldo and Joao Felix in attack, if Ghana starts strong Portugal might not find a way to score today.

Ghana’s Kudus is an interesting player, has very quick feet.
