November 25, 20223 yr Big game for the Welsh today. The draw with Pulisican means second place behind England is down to who beats Iran better/loses to England by the least amount of goals. Could go either way but being my usual optimistic self I reckon Wales can get the job done and make it through, with a hopefully entertaining win today too 🙂

We are so negative as a team and focus too much on where teams can hurt us rather than where we can hurt them. It is international football. The intensity and the speed of the game is very low.
November 25, 20223 yr Wales looking distinctly second best to Iran so far, but still 0-0, so anyone's game I suppose.

November 25, 20223 yr 0:0 still going strong, you would think that Wales has some quality after their first match but nope they're just terrible.
November 25, 20223 yr Author You can't say it hasn't been coming, but it hurts even more when its this late into the game.
November 25, 20223 yr Hilarious that that went in considering Iran's #23 had been shouting for the ball while completely unmarked on the right for a full 90 seconds. Wales look a bit f**ked to be honest. Their star players from previous tournaments are effectively passengers, and the solid spine isn't as good as it was. They'll have to hope that we absolutely batter the USA and half-arse the last game. Even a famous win against England won't be enough if Iran beat the USA.

November 25, 20223 yr So the genius Bale who scores when he wants chose not to score....he barely broke sweat in that game.
November 25, 20223 yr Good goals from Iran, gives them a good chance of going through, their match with the USA is now likely to be a decider.
November 25, 20223 yr In stupid made up football jargon we now have receptions what the hell does that mean ? don't bother I don't want to know 😆
November 25, 20223 yr Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Hazard might do something great during a game but their all finished at this level especially Bale who has nothing to offer but set pieces. Reminds me a bit of when Peter Osgood came back he was completely finished although he had terrible players around him second time round. Edited November 25, 20223 yr by bluehaze
November 25, 20223 yr Disappointing outcome, but a deserved one. If you show up for only 1 half out of 4 then you face getting knocked out, and that is exactly where the Welsh are now and facing the possibility of ending up bottom to boot too
