I think the Americans blew themselves out in the first half, that's why Wales looked good in the 2nd half. I expect the same from the US again tonight, run hard for an hour and then suffer late on.

As some have mentioned already, game will be decided in the 2nd half. 

As young as this American team is, they shouldn't be switching off the way they did against Wales. Midfield needs to do a lot better as well.

Got a drinking game with my mates have a drink everytime an American uses the prefix super they use it for everything. The game was super crap or I'm super bored they use it in such weird contexts. Nearly as bad as using bunch for everything you have a bunch of keys and a bunch of bananas the worse one I've heard was a bunch of sh*t. Anyhoo enjoy the soccer hope England score a bunch of goals and our American friends are super pissed off in the locker room 😆

I try to watch the game and then I see Harry f**king Spurs Kane and donkey Maguires face and have to switch off, sorry.

This 20 minutes sums up why I think Rice would be a disaster unless we revert to low block counter.

He's literally hiding behind USA players when Stones and Maguire are trying to play out.

If he was worth it, Pep wouldn't have already tied Phillips already for 6 years.

He's fine defensively (in general not so much today) but so so poor in the build up. For these type of games Phillips is a much better option.

He leaves wide open space on the pitch that he could occupy to give an option in the pass (the one thing Jorginho excells at) but is just happily standing behind a USA player.

It will be infuriating if after breaking our transfer record on such an obvious stylistical mismatch we go and do the exact same thing again.

Trippier showing his average self. We miss James at RB for England too. Saka is poor tonight. Mount is average too. 

USA have been the better team 

Problem is, International football never reflects the true quality of certain players. 

Shaw, Trippier, Saka, Rice, Mount, they have all been sh*t, and Maguire scares me every time he gets involved. Can't get anything out of a game when half of the team is playing this badly.

Southgate will be gone after this WC. We are not winning it or getting close.
