A better question is if a player was one v one with the last defender and there was an attacking player ahead of him but the last defender tackles the ball into the path of the offside player, is that offside?

I’m pretty sure something similar happened in the Euros and the goal was given.

It doesn't feel right to me as that offside player has an advantage in that situation, the example today was messy since there was a double touch but essentially the same.

This runs is even dumber than our title. Never seen anything like it. They are not even a top 10 CL side and end up with the title.

Really? I can't think of 9 other clubs better. Only us, City, Liverpool and PSG can be argued to be better. A lot of fans will say they are better than us and PSG. At the very least, they are the 5th best club in the world right now.

They are poor in terms of the elite but still La Liga champions and have great individual match winners. Our 2012 side was 6th. We actually used luck whereas Real made their own by scoring goals, not comparable imo.

I don't remember the number but it would max out the contract bonuses if they do today, taking the total to something like 160m euros
