The only issue for Sterling is that nitrous is a banned substance and the moral panic that ensues with drugs, but famous people get off drug offences all the time.

Not a chelsea player anymore, not sure he was ever a blue playing for us. I DO think the club has treated players disgracefully, but that isnt nor should it be a mitigating factor here, we paid off his contract. Hope he sorts himself out as he has been a very good player for England and the clubs he's played for. Must be difficult to know your top flight career is over. I'm sure there'll be a private drivers job opening for him to be driven about in future.

I have zero sympathy for reckless drivers, be-it drink or drugs. One wrong move and it could be my child in the car next to you who ends up hurt.

Depriving the brain of oxygen by inhaling nitrous oxide will certainly make you lose consciousness, at the very least you’ll have severely reduced coordination.

If you’re doing balloons, you’re not inhaling once then carrying on as usual.

I mean I have done balloons before. I don't know if I would say I lost consciousness but I would 100% not do balloons when driving on a motorway. I'd rather drink 8 pints and drive than do balloons.

Seriously, balloons? Christ on a bike! We just used to drink copious amounts of Stella and on the odd occaisions take some Billy to stay awake on an all nighter. But now...

I used to do balloons. When I was a wee baby to make my voice go funny.
