July 24, 20223 yr The post match statement from T T should not be taken lightly. He’s talking about the hierarchy and the players. The pre match conference talked about needing one more defender. Assuming the club were in control of the Kounde signing. Post match he talks about not wanting to be right about his negativity but “Has been proved right” The Club will have to back him otherwise the players could possibly react to the comments leaving pre season in an even worse state. I think we will see his strongest 11 next Friday and will know what is happening to those criticised from this weekend.
July 25, 20223 yr Beating Chelsea 4:0 in the State will end up in Arsenal's season highlight for sure. I expected us to lose, the America trip has been a mess. We are wasting valuable time on players who have proven they aren't worth the time, and new signings aren't ready to play. We are going to have a slow start this season, but the season will have 50+ games over an extended WC cup, so panicking is the last thing we need right now.

Honestly don’t think there’s much between him and havertz who’s a bit of a golden goose. Can’t really see how you could rate him below CHO, Ziyech or Werner who have barely strung 2 good back to back performances in a Chelsea shirt. I've never got the few people who say Pulisic was good in his 1st season here. I feel those people are focusing solely on his very un Pulisic like post lockdown purple patch and the buzz that generated and not the season on the whole. We played 29 league games prior to lockdown. Over 75% of the season and Pulisic had been absolutely dreadful. He'd scored in 3 different games, all 3 coming in a 2 week period. Had 2 assists and had spent most of the season looking so bad we offered Willian a 2 year contract because he was clearly a level above Pulisic all season. I don't rate most of our forward options but Pulisic has just as much trouble stringing 2 decent performances together as CHO, Ziyech and Werner.

I’d have to disagree , just off the top of my head I remember him looking very sharp in the super cup vs Liverpool , causing Ajax loads of issues in both games with them and then a hattrick vs Burnley, and then obviously post lockdown where he effectively carried the team.

Good post. As opposed to the hater, you don't ignore facts. What a sad sack of hate that one is.
July 25, 20223 yr Pre season is not an indication of how well we will do in the league. And a good start in the league is no indication either !

July 26, 20223 yr Sadly, I went to this disaster of a game. It was my very first Chelsea game of any sort that I've been able to attend as I live in Orlando. Arsenal beat my home town team 3-1 that Wednesday and to be perfectly blunt, Orlando City played better against Arsenal than Chelsea did. To make matters worse, I didn't realize there were sides to the stadium when I bought my tickets as the south side were all Chelsea and the north side were all Gunners. Hopefully they will return again soon. At least I can say that I saw my Blues in person at least one time!
July 26, 20223 yr I was at the match too. While it was fun to see them it was so disappointing having driven 8 hours but oh well. It was my daughters first Chelsea match. It probably didn’t help that we showed up to the stadium 45 minutes before kick off. The one positive I saw was koulibaly. He was a beast in the back line. Edited July 26, 20223 yr by seanlu13913
