Reasons for optimism

Watched him yesterday. Very good. Quick, a lot of skill. Aided by Bayern going AWOL in the second half. Can't see Salihamidžić and Kahn lasting much longer.

If Lautaro is the ST the club/Pochettino wants I think he and Nkunku will complement one another very well.

Just need to get the midfield solidified.

Trying not to get too excited given the false dawns of recent years and Bundi tax for attacking players but he looks like he could be a gamechanging signing in the front 3/4.

My Arsenal fans friend who's basically a reverse Ty when it comes to Chelsea has admitted he's jealous of this signing.

How is that a reason for optimism?  Get with the program man! 🤣

I'm assuming Clearlake have seen Boehly f**k everything up and have instructed him to remove some responsibility.

Has it not widely been stated the Clearlake head guy is really in power?

Eghbali and two others. Boehly just the face of the ownership, which tbf he's been getting a lot of the stick when in reality it could be Clearlake.

What ever it is, them deciding to remove some responsibility is good news.

a lot of reason for optimism for next season

1) anything has to be better than the absolute dog sh*t we have seen this year
2) proper manager coming in, Pochettino has his flaws but at least we know he can work with dog sh*t and build a foundation and stabilise a club during turmoil.
3) massive squad clearout coming with plenty of deadwood set to leave this summer
4) couple more signings coming in in crucial positions by the looks of things (a 6, striker, possible keeper)

a lot to look forward to in the coming months!
just 1 last pitiful game we have to endure on sunday and then this season can be long forgotten

Inter have seemed to change their approach on Lukaku after originally saying they wouldn't have him again next season. Apparently his agent is putting pressure on us to pay more of his wage to Inter.

I'm hoping that they just buy him in the summer, but the fact another loan is now a possibility meaning he won't be around here is good news for all. Pochettino can find a new striker
